Succession and Forbearance? Why?
Yes, lets reskin currently obtainable raid weapons for Into the Light. Really, there are so many good weapons you guys could have brought back. Here's a few.
* Alone as a God
* No Feelings
* Tataras Gaze
* The Ringing Nail
* Bellowing Giant
* Spiteful Fang
* Mob Justice
* Threat Level
* Kindled Orchid
But, you choose to reskin two currently obtainable raid weapons. Btw these two raid weapons (Succession and Forebearance) are craftable as well, so why do we need another version of these weapons? Why? Explain. Please.
At least we Got Hammer Head and Blast Furnace back. I guess.
You pvp nerds have two reissued hand cannons to mess around with. (Midnight coup and Luna's Howel).
Bringing back Mountain Top and Recluse scares me. This is not a good idea.
The two raid weapon reskins, I'm confused. I don't understand this one.

I think the point of the raid weapons being included is to give newer and casual players a taste of the high end weaponry available from raids, and to help give those folks a few pieces of high end gear so they have at least chance at keeping up with the top tier folks when final shape drops. Being a largely casual player myself I'm a little excited to try forebearence. Definitely understand that there isn't a lot of appeal for forebearence and succession among the frequent raider population out there though.

There is actually an article that shows some of the ones that they considered that were cut and let me some of those I would have rather had...Looking at the raid weapons Fatebringer...no shotguns on this list so Dustrock Blues that terrorized PvP as well when they brought back special. Since they came up with this new fireteamfinder nonsense i don't raid anymore . I am not gonna wait in orbit for hours and hours because people don't join . For nightfalls and dungeons it is fine because you only need 2 people but for raiding it is ridiculous so yeah for me it is a good thing because i don't have a crafted succesion or forbearence yet .

1 commentaireKindled orchid and ringing nail for me. You can easily get a succession.. that raid is a lot of fun and has a super low entry. Forbearance is a testament to playing one of the harder raids and should really be kept to it as a shiny prize (not elitist - just would rather people actually play the good content the game has to offer)

In this version they will be available "free to play" Edit. Also they explained that mountain top won't kill in one shot even on direct hit. And recluse will have the main perk tweaked, so you probably are worried for nothing

7 commentairesFor the raid weapons why are you confuse, he told you exactly why they are in there and I’ll quote, for the raid weapons you need to have the additional according dlc, so what there hoping will happen is that new light players will try to get all 12 weapons and re-buy older content to complete the 12 weapon collection. It’s about the money. Bungie needs money.

It is amazing how from 'they share the same name' you conduct 'they are the same weapon'. Have you seen the perks on Midnight coup? 6 commentairesMt and recluse are not gonna be broken their perks are the nerfed versions. Nothing about them will be better then ikelos smg or shayuras or the raid forbearance. These weapons are straight bait.

1 commentaireIf they were going to bring back Raid weapons, I would have picked Atheon's Epilogue and Hunger of Crota. Both were infamous in Destiny's history for their own reasons and both got left out when their respective Raids came to D2.

3 commentairesModifié par Rainbine 9545 : 3/27/2024 5:18:41 AMWell, honestly they are worst versions of their counterparts Since their unique traits Succession has on damage grants ability energy Forbearance grants health on each enemy hit, which will be all of them I’m happy for the return some of these weapons, but I feel like some were really left out instead of those two, I would have loved to see the revoker and the other not forgotten that pvp had or even the broadsword but it honestly feels worse when you see they picked some good weapons and then fumbled with bad choices

Forbearance I can understand, because it's that much better than its competitors and we know it's getting nerfed in TFS, so it's letting everyone use it for 2 months while it's still at its best. AFAIK we only saw it get Chain Reaction, so there's a chance it might not have Ambitious Assassin, which is another core part of why it's so good. It remains to be seen how effective the new Origin Trait is. Succession is a really weird choice, though. DSC is one of the easiest Raids in general and one of the easiest to farm patterns for, even for players without much/any Raid experience. Plus, Riven's Wishes allow access to another Raid Sniper in Supremacy, among the other Last Wish weapons, We're in a time where Snipers aren't really used much in PvE either. I don't think either of these is as egregious as putting 7th and 8th versions of Hung Jury into the game, however.

They picked these two weapons since they are popular. I guess Bungie's idea is if people get a taste for raid weapons then more people will want to run raids and try for the others. I guess they say some uptick in numbers after the last wish tokens were started.
