As a Veteran player seeing New Lights in both game and online, I can’t help but think having something like a bestiary where the players can go through a brief history of certain characters and species, their traits and structures as well as key information such a weak spots and tips of how to defeat them, would be incredibly useful for all players.
A simple tab in the menu, similar to the lore if you want to keep it simple, maybe with an image or even a sketch of the character/creature. Maybe have them be created by those that mark out the Lost Sectors for us and can be obtained by completing the Lost Sectors?

What are them frog things on Nessus called, and what's their genus? These are the important questions that need to be answered.

That was the grimoire but Bungie stopped all that back in D1. Even erased it off BungieNet so you can only still set it on 3rd party sites

Drifters recipe guide. He could have a full chapter just for fish. As a throwback to season of the deep.

That could be fun. Quick tidbit of lore from where they came from, what their weaknesses are, and how best to engage them. Something like Witcher's bestiary.

I think it'd be cool to see the names of the little creatures on each planet. Nessus with their frog things, the Throne World and its bat-like things, whatever the hell that weird orange eyed worm thing in the ground in the Throne World. I wanna know! Just a quick little "here's the name and looks of animals on this planet". Doesn't have to be in depth, I'd personally be fine with just a name and picture. I do legitimately miss the grimoire cards (and in the livestream on Tuesday there was a quick "acquire grimoire card" pop up near one of the Holo-Shaxxs so I'm excited for that).

That's why I miss the D1 style grimoire.

That could be kind of cool, I always like a bestiary in the games I play although not all of them deliver.

What for? For 5 fractions and 20 enemy units?
