I remember seeing the information on date of birth requirements taking effect March 12. About the same time, my daughter has been unable to use voice chat when she wants to play with me. Would like to get confirmation that this is the cause and if there's any ETA on when parental controls will become available to re-enable it.
I've tried all the troubleshooting listed on the KB here (she's a PC user), and while the headset works for me on my windows account, it doesn't work when I log in as her via Steam on my windows account to test. Definitely seems to be a Destiny account setting blocking the chat (and not a hardware or software issue) but want confirmation.

Modifié par TuxyDoh : 3/17/2024 4:45:44 PMHello there, On March 10th an update to player safety was put in place that required players enter their date of birth in game if they had not previously done so on Bungie.net. Entering an age under 13 (or their country’s age of digital consent) will place some limitations on what they can access.
In our ongoing efforts to promote player privacy and safety online, Destiny 2 will require date of birth information from players starting on March 10th. When players log in, those who haven't updated their birthdate on Bungie.net will be met with a birthdate screen before they can access Destiny 2. This is a one-time account request and will be mandatory for all players before they can enter the game.
For more information you can visit https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/24217906958868-Date-of-Birth-Requirements-for-Destiny-2-and-Bungie-Services
