The worst part about Icarus Dash is that I always try to use it on other subclasses after switching off. Would be nice to have it useable in some form like Blink for Arc and Void but that would likely be asking too much.

Sounds like an exotic perk more than a simple feature. Or else having this every few seconds would be too much. They would have to increase icarus dash cooldown

It has needed a desperate rework since they nerfed it. I’d love to see phoenix dive added to Icarus. That way you can either dive or pop a rift. Ooor add Icarus dash to heat rises and create a new aspect that focuses on the support role that solar warlocks used to carry. Make the new aspect grant cure when casting a rift, hitting a friendly with a powered melee makes them radiant and cures them. And healing grenades split into healing seekers and look for teammates. Applying cure can grant some kind of ability energy.

I would say dedicate an entire exotic for it but I know it’d be abused lol maybe apply scorch while heat rises is active?
