So last night I needed 4 more wins for a flawless.
Game 1 done
Game 2 done
Game 3 a dude types in team chat because I clutched the round. Ended on a gg in teamchat.
Game 4 he's back and in my team again we have another close game but he was excited we won again so ggs again.
I went flawless at this point and I have my notifications turned off for invites and friend requests, I saw an invite when I handed in my passage by Saint so I shot him a friend request.
After adding me I asked him if he also went flawless but he was on his last game with no mercy. Normally I'm not too fond of helping randoms or their passages after I Stat check them but we've been paired twice so I thought why not.
So last game we keep trading rounds the dude that friended me was actually doing very good. So 4-4 close game I whiff my nova like a moron while they have a squal still available. My new found friend blade barraged 2 dudes including the squal and we terminate the last person. Won 5-4.
The dude was really excited to go and was super thankful for me joining him. I've kind of shut myself off from strangers on d2 but the feeling I got is one I rarely get to experience anymore. People that are grateful and excited to achieve something that's a challenge to them. And it was a honor to be a part of that experience for him.
We got the bad ending though he did not get a good GL adept.

What a great post! So refreshing to read a story like this posted on the forums. The end wasn’t bad but typical of drops haha. Thanks for sharing man.

5 commentairesIf only stuff like this happened more often than once in a million years. This community is SO elitist and selfish that theres more toxicity than you find in 50 nuclear power plants. The only "help" you find in this game usually is fake positive and fake humble content creators who do carries for subs, donations or simply clout. Or paid recovs.

2 commentairesTruth is most people are like that guy, just wanting to have fun, get things done, and will help or be greatful when helped. We are in this little bubble, reading forums , reading twitter, watching YouTube vids & streams where it's all toxicity, hate, putting people down etc etc & once you're in you can't get out. Sad thing is, seeing player numbers plummet, bungie are actively fostering this toxic side & pushing normal fun gamers away & whichever way we look at it, numbers are don't lie

That’s dope man. Gg on your flawless but an even bigger GG for helping someone else get one.

1 commentaireLove this ! This weekend was pretty rough. I have a buddy who lost like 30 games in a row. Seriously. In a row. He is so bummed. I inadvertently helped several guardians to their flawless this weekend and some of them were pretty stoked. Not as wholesome and splendid as your story though. Hope you got a god roll on your Cata!

Great post! Well done guardian 🫡

How -blam!- dare you enjoy this game

Its known as Win Trading. As wholesome as it sounds, be careful. Please let me know if i read it wrong. That line i quoted, just didn't sound right. Edit: like it sounds like they were on the other team..is what im getting at.

He can always farm wins for more until he turns his card in for another one. Good post.
