At least remove SBMM from IB (Eruption)
So it seems like Bungie is [i]really[/i] keen on keeping SBMM around for Control. If it’s staying around for Control can we at least remove it from IB, especially for Eruption?
The whole point of Eruption is to go on streaks and keep pushing constantly. Make some cool plays to prevent yourself from blowing up. SBMM completely undermines that philosophy. It’s slowing the game down and hampering players’ ability to go on such streaks.
This is supposed to be a party mode too, right? It sure doesn’t feel like one. I thought Eruption was really fun when it first launch, which was before SBMM was implemented into IB. Now it just makes me want to completely erase Destiny from my memory with how bad it feels to play.
I already despise SBMM. If I have to put up with it in Control, it would be nice to have a break whenever IB is around. That’s especially true for when the mode is Eruption.

I'm on optic fibre and whiffing melees, super, shots all the time, teleporting teammates, teleporting enemies. But this IB is still not the worst, it's up there but not the worst. Had worse. With love from a D1 vet

4 commentairesEruption is a mode designed around doing good and snowballing. It is literally based around having cbmm instead of sbmm, but Bungie won’t admit they made a bad decision and killed PvP with sbmm.

SBMM has no place in the CASUAL playlists of CASUAL unbalanced party arena shooters. SBMM is just there because it makes Bungie the most amount of money.

Find a new light to group up with and make them host. I invert sbmm and average 40 kills per game.

IB is beyond awful. SBMM has ruined this game mode and they are never going to revert it because they have completely lost their way after the 30th anniversary season. Ive given up hope

I remember the days of couldn’t wait for banner to come round, now I get my glided Lord and gtfo. They got to keep the Jim’s happy and let them have ‘there go’ even though it’s there own lack of effort and incompetence that allows them to have a better time.
