Imagine you are a new player trying the season for the first time. You want to get immersed with the game and story. The starting cutscene (that is btw just ca. 15s long!) starts playing and some random in your matchmaking fireteam skips it before you can see it. I know for some it is annoying to see it over and over again. But people from random fireteams should NEVER be able to skip any type of cutscene for you. And for example, players like me might want to see it still. But some annoying guy in matchmaking decided I am not allowed to experience the game the way I want.
