1 commentaireNormally that represents resets but I remember reading somewhere that cayde had more than 6 resets but he just likes that number. Bungie being bungie you’d think they would of went for cayde - 7

1 commentaireDo you want to see cayde 6 again, or asking if the 1-5 still exist? Cayde-6 has a non linear loop, you'll see him again, dudes pretty brilliant for a goofy nerd. He dies, sure, but the network is vast, and it connects everywhere...not just one planet is the only point where that network is at crap people were tossing at my face (linear people are annoying). My guess is though...you'll get cayde-1, and see all other five lives...and send him back in the end, no cayde-7. Ever. The resets, probably will attach to the non-linear issue. Anyways, I'm crazy.

Human Cayde was indebted to Clovis, to payoff his debt I believe he allowed himself to be subjugated to human/exo experimentation to payoff his debts, thusly one of the Cayde's died a human to awaken in an exo body as one of the first functioning exo's.

1 commentaireThe number is in reference to how many times an Exo has been reset. Take Banshee-44, bro can’t remember anything to save his life. Same body but their mind has been wiped.

6 commentairesModifié par Shockwave 989 : 7/24/2023 12:54:16 PMCayde is the base Exo consciousness, essentially a newborn with no memories. The number refers to each refresh of this consciousness, whether the frame had to be wiped of memories or replaced. Cayde-6 was the Exo Guardian we knew, the Hunter Vanguard. Clovis Bray might be able to construct a Cayde-7 if the Europa Deep Stone Crypt facilities are still in any way salvageable. But it wouldn’t be our Cayde. No Light, no memories. If the Vex simulations of Cayde-6 still exist we may be able to achieve a self-aware approximation of him, but it might not be complete. He wouldn’t have a physical body either. But where Final Shape seems to be going is that the Traveler has reconstructed Cayde-6, memories and all, within itself to act as some sort of guide.

Rebooted to lose memories the creators did not want them to know. Adelade was only booted the once when she was transferred. Looks like DER was not the huge problem they thought with reboots.

1 commentaireModifié par Guardian, Archon Of Light : 7/23/2023 9:07:25 PMThere are 1.7 billion copies in the Nessus Vex Network from when he got stuck in it during the red war All we have to do is splice it, retrieve a copy, get out, fill him in on everything that's happened since , then all is normal

2 commentairesYup. Evolutions of the Exo tech... a prototype Exo, maybe the 1st...once powered by darkness; with potential backups of his consciousness at Braytech and in the Vex Network.
