Literally the only thing that can actually change the game at this point is for an entirely new set of directors to take over. And even then there’s no guarantee they’d do anything different. Destiny is a money machine, streamlined and set on autopilot to deliver content with the lowest effort and highest ROI. They dialed in the development cost and this is what came out. Enjoy.
