Can you even imagine the original designers of this game putting out something like this? Kind of shows you how far Destiny has gone off track.

Modifié par GIVE EM HELLBOY : 11/30/2022 2:48:41 AMJoseph Staten wouldve never put out a product this awful and full of greed. Thats why Bungie corporate kicked him and the rest of the OG devs out.
-
It's very funny that you know exactly what Staten would have and would have not done.
-
I don't get it. Where is the funny part?
-
All of it. People have only a rudimentary idea of what he had written for the game but know for sure that he would have done better without any evidence.
-
Because we have his past work, his story for Destiny, and what he did to the Halo Infinite campaign to go off of. He isnt a piece of filth like 90% of modern game devs.
-
Infinite’s narrative isn’t even good. It’s barely even a story. It’s a barebones foundation for future stories we don’t even know the quality of. The game’s campaign was hard carried by the gameplay.
-
You do realize that the campaign was made in less than 2 years? Joseph Staten came in late and saw the abomination they were making, and built it from scratch. The story is solid for being made in that time, a better story than anything Destiny has put out recently.
-
Thats a hard cope over the fact that the campaign barely has a story. Literally nothing substantial happens and there’s more garbage with the absolute travesty of a story that is anything involving Cortana in the post-Bungie Halo games.
-
"Hard cope" Breakable Patches, you cease to amaze me. Yes, Cortanas arc is a travesty, but its undeniable that what Staten did is impressive considering what story he had to follow up on. Halo Infinites campaign is nothing short of a miracle, enough said.
-
It’s impressive that Infinite completely lacks an actual narrative? ??????
-
Are you brain damaged? It does have a narrative lmao. It plays it safe, but its a complete story. You gotta retake some grade school classes my guy.
-
Yeah, no. It was a barebones foundation. At best the campaign was a glorified teaser for future stories. The only thing saving the quality of the campaign is the gameplay, because there isn’t really much of a substantial story to talk about. But of course you’re just pretending that Staten is some god and something something Bungie sucks.
-
You clearly lack the ability to even comprehend what exactly a narrative is. Deny the truth, embrace stupidity
-
You just can’t seriously denounce Bungie’s narratives and praise Infinite’s in the same breath. That is as disingenuous and desperate as it gets.
-
Your only argument against Infinites story is "Yeah, no" Hypocrisy is a disease
-
-
Bruh indeed. Step 1: Deny narratives existence Step 2: Respond with, "Yeah, no" when you get called out for being a troglodyte. If you say no, a concept ceases to exist.
-
You’re insane lmao
-
The only insane one here is you for outright denying the existence of narrative in a story driven experience lmao.
-
You’re actually trolling lmao
-
Yeah, no
-
That's just an assumption, nothing more.
-
A well educated one at that. Do you even know who Joseph Staten is?
-
Yes, I don't live under a rock. Considering that we didn't even get to see the results of his work in D that's rather a very vague assumption.
-
But weve seen the results without his work due to them completely scrapping it and kicking him out of the company... The story in year 1 was horrible. It took Taken King (based on Statens work) to even have a semblance of a proper story.
