Frames Dropping Dramtically After Logging In (Steam)
Hi,
I have recently redownloaded the game after taking a month long break. The games files downloaded fine and I verified them via steam. The game launches fine and the Title and connecting screens work and run flawlessly. However as soon as I successfully login, the game drops from 60 to 6fps. I have updated my game drivers and changed all graphic settings to low and the issue still isn't fixed. I am running on a Core i7 and a GTX 1660TI and I have never had any issues like these before. I was taking a break waiting for GMs and now I can barely even launch an activity.

Another player was able to solve a sudden FPS drop issue with the steps found at this thread: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/260970794?page=0&sort=0&showBanned=0&path=1 [spoiler]I found a way to solve it 1. Go to \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Destiny 2 and delete all files (except bin and package) 2. Open Steam and verify the integrity of game files 3. When it finishes, go to \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Destiny 2\bin\x64 and copy all files 4. Go back to \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Destiny 2 and paste it[/spoiler]
