Please can it get a small buff in terms of healing potential (speeding up healing) and allow empowering rifts buff to last like 5 seconds after exiting the rift.
I say this because currently, there is no penalty for the other player pushing your rift(especially considering the long animation time).
For example, Titan barricade : if you walk through it you take damage +you get 40% DR when casting one.
Hunter dodge: brief period of breaking aim assistance
Rift: long animation and healing isnt that fast.

rift needs a buff in pve. it only saves you in low level content in even medium content you die when in a rift it defeats the point. nothing else needs a buff on warlock but rift is so weak for the healing part. it does not save you most of the time. its like a having a shield that does not work where all the bullets go through it defeats the purpose.

Barricade and dodge can be used defensively, you cant do that with rift. Improving its healing capabilities will break rift when players use it offensively so the only thing bungie can do to balance rift and buff it is by simply reducing cast time. Casting the rift just takes forever! It made sense back in vanilla D2 when the pace of the game was slow but things are different now. We have players zooming across the map with eager edge, we have players with stompees catching up to other players like its nothing, we have icarus dash etc. the game is so fast now that rift is more of a nuisance than anything. My characters having 100 recovery actually regenerate healing faster than standing on a rift! Casting time needs to be reduced in order for the rift to be a viable ability.

1 commentaireI would like it to be placed faster would be nice but I think healing is fine

1 commentaireAlso cancel during cast if you on uneven ground Really annoying

Rift does give you damage resistance while in the animation. If you die while placing a rift, you should be dead.

46 commentairesModifié par snowcola : 4/3/2022 5:42:55 PMClearly you've not been updated on twabs... Dodge breaks aim assistance, that was removed when they nerfed the dodge to have 14 secs to regen and not to able to break tracking projectiles.

It’s fine as is.

rifts activation take a year that was my only problem and now you have Titans and their new sunspots exotic which gives them both healing and empowering rifts together and actually you can damage burn with it and you can get another one after a kill and this thing will get waaaaaaaaay better in Solar 3.0 so my advice to you stop playing warlock in PvP it's a waist of time
-
Modifié par hate n payne : 4/3/2022 8:00:49 AMThe problem is the animation speed for both rifts and barricades alike. The same can be said for Dodge for not giving off any ally benefits when nearby.

Why do crylocks always whine and cry about hunters funny how you cry babies didn’t have a problem when dawn blade was busted for a while then cry when it gets barely nerfed lmao
-
No, rifts are fine.
-
you get DR when casting rift too.
-
5 commentairesYoy get damage resist casting it and casting it in the open is not it's intended purpose
-
1 commentaireDon't worry we'll be getting shafted again in arc & solar 3.0.

5 commentairesRifts also need fixed. There was a time that I tried placing a Rift 3 times in a row standing still on the ground and it never came out. Every other class ability does not have that issue.
