Dodge, especially with invis has so little utility now. Im PvP any and everything tracks you, like how ludacris is it that axion bolts and stasis turrets still track and follow an invis target, the uptime on dodge is now so low coupled with nerfing it in to oblivion that is makes hunter just a subpar choice when warlocks have the same if not more mobility, more group utility and far better supers. In PvE , my god, lawdy lawd invis after dodge is just hard useless. Its like you are anything but invisible, enemies shoot downed players ghosts, enemies attacks don’t break tracking, enemies just shoot where you were last spotted and worst of all many enemies follow you while invis without shooting, for them to circle as swarm you as attempt to reposition. It needs to have tracking and break of aim assist added back for PvP hunters sake and in PvE when you go invis it should be as though you never existed and all enemies instantly loose full agro.

Forget that, they need to rework Nightstalker again. Why did they have to make the entire sublass revolve around Invisibility with Void 3.0? It doesn't have much use outside of briefly stopping aggro, and it doesn't even work on the enemies that you might really need to for--like Hive Shriekers. They need to give the Nightstalker more abilities focused around trapping and debuffing targets, or really give them some sort of actual lethal ability that synergizes with Invisiblity to play more into the stealthy assassin role.

2 commentairesModifié par Infamous067 : 3/30/2022 11:40:09 PMUh no? How are you gonna be upset over projectiles tracking you? Warlocks and titans have had to put up with tracking grenades for years and we manage just fine lol. Lets face it and be brutally honest, invisibility is a crutch. That thing has been abused since release, it was always good and void 3.0 broke invisibility. The nerf was bound to happen. You hunters just love your crutch bruh, are you one of those players that thought shatter dive was balanced too? Give me a break, you hunters should get good and stop relying on cheese abilities to win your fights.

3 commentaires😥😥 Can't instantly cheese out of everyone's tracking ability skills with a simple few click of the crouch button anymore 😥😥 😥😥 Can't spend the entire game invisible and off the radar, sprinting full speed with a shotgun anymore 😥😥 I have to have thumbs to play hunter in pvp now 😥😥

The loss of sight/bullet magnetism is way to good. Seems to give server based Damage Resistance. It gives you a melee charge or reloads your gun. Is instant activation. And you want it to mess with tracking? Nah, that ability gives alot. Warlocks have to slowly activate for slow af healing or a damage boost that is telegraphed and can be moved away from. In comparison, hunters have a huge advantage with dodge in its current state even with the nerf. Titans barricade is also really strong.

I agree, 100%. As a hunter main I was shocked and horrified when they nurfed our invis. I think it should be immediately reverted to what it once was and I think it should also get a buff to help us poor hunters out, FFS we need it. My suggestion is this, invis should last indefinitely or until I shoot someone DEAD, also when I shadestep I should be given an oversheild and a devour buff that lasts the duration of my invisibility. This I feel is only fair to us poor downtrodden hunters.

1 commentaireTell me you're a hunter main without telling me you're a hunter main
-
I'd rather have an alternative to invis in PvE as an option tbh (AoE concussive blast, healing pulse for all allies, AoE Lightning chain, etc. as a few ideas)
-
2 commentairesYet another 🤡 unable to kill without invisibility.
-
3 commentairesYeah going invis in PvE can get irritating with how enemies will still shoot directly at you for three seconds after you go invis
-
Modifié par Rainstater : 3/31/2022 12:35:33 AMOdd. I’m a hunter main and when I go invis things stop attacking me and I’m able to reposition and heal back to full health before my invis even runs out. When my invis runs out I can instantly go invisible again if my positioning was bad. I’ve had no issues in pve dodging things that track me too. Maybe you have major lag on your end? Or bad? lol I don’t know.
-
I think dodge is fine as is but the invis nerf for PvP was unnecessary
-
As a hunter main the invis does not need to be re-worked in PVP or PvE. I would like if Dodge in PvE would stop tracking projectiles again, but it is not necessary
-
Then play warlock then
-
1 commentaireDodge is just as good if not better dodge has such a low cool down and exotics like stompees, work husk, jemini make it even better hunter is and has been the best pvp class by far if you don’t like it I’m sorry but you might wanna practice more
-
I dont care about it in PvP, but PvE its definitely not as good as it was, doesnt matter if I go invisible or not I'm still being followed around and every enemy in PvE knows where you are, especially melee range enemies
-
It’s a meh from me, sure I go invisible but unlike the other hunters, I use a sniper and attack from range, won’t ping radar and won’t be easy to see from longer distances But I do want the targeting disabling dodge back so we can at least have some way to stop a push, warlocks have healing rifts to deal with them, titans have their walls to recover, hunters… they just run loosing ground and being forced to retreat back
-
You want the old AA breaking invis back? Nah, cringe. If you want to play Ghostbusters so bad, go hop on custom games in the Master Chief Collection.
-
1 commentaireGood, and deserved. Maybe Hunters won’t be 99% of the crucible population now.
-
Needs to be buried further into the ground ⚱
-
9 commentairesBoo hoo. Woe is hunter. Without my 0:09s dodge cool-downs I’m hopeless! It’s fine how it is. We all get long cool-downs, it adds some artificial difficulty to the game. It means I can no longer rely on my warlock having a healing grenade or rift.
-
Your complaint about invisibility in PvE is so bad. I did the legend campaign on all 3 characters. I did a play through solo on warlock and then my hunter last and by far had the easiest and quickest completion on hunter. Stylist executioner along with vanishing step along with a good build has crazy uptime on invisibility.

2 commentairesDodge is fine. But it's ok, use your lord of wolves bud
-
I don't main my hunter, but I was playing a day or two ago and invis worked great in PvE. It's far from useless, and has saved my butt multiple times in the Legendary Campaign. Having it so that enemies instantly loose full agro when you go invis is unreasonable and too op. You just got to use it smart, as it is with any ability.
-
2 commentairesI can’t speak for PvP, but I was having a lot of fun yesterday tearing apart groups of adds with melee invis. I almost felt sorry for them.

Modifié par Desolator0 : 3/30/2022 3:54:11 PMHunter dodge nerfs were the best balance changes ever done to the Crucible. Now, 36% of the game can't simply crutch their dodge and ignore all tracking in the game by pressing two buttons. Meanwhile, Hunter is still the best class to solo flawless any hard PvE content in the game because of invisibility and was like this even before Void 3.0.
-
Modifié par cerrberus : 3/30/2022 2:21:52 PMI have to agree with your PvP invis points, void hunter needs a rework to be viable in PvP. The invis changes are too severe, Consider this pre void 3.0 invis hunters with right build had a comparable up time with use of smoke bombs and graviton forfeit. Had heart of the pack and True sight options. In the realm of PvP void hunter is in a much worse state.
