Rather it’s the map design, Bungie’s consistent incapability to balance weapons, and above all the connections in servers. I’m not just talking about the MM they use (which in my eyes is fine honestly) I’m mainly talking about the terrible crossplay connection combined with peer to peer.
The problem isn’t just Bungie either though, it’s probably you as well. If you just got killed a few seconds ago walking down a sniper lane, don’t go down it again. If you do have to do so, change up the way you cross it each time. If you see a ton of red on your radar, just walk away from the situation. You’re very rarely going to win a 1v6 against at least a few competent players. Most of all, if you hear a hunter going invis or a hunter jumping up, just backpedal and wait for them to push you. Make them play into you, do not ever play into them. A good player will always punish you for doing so.
The truly good PvP players know these things, and due to this we don’t complain about the MM or things like that (usually) but rather the lack of effort from Bungie in regards to PvP.
Thank you for reading my rant.
Love you all (except for the crayon mains, you people weird me out)

People cant understand that when you nerf something, you make something else stronger by proxy. For example, people hate HCs and they got nerfed. Cool right? Well guess what, since people couldn’t realize that HCs arent the best dueling weapons, Bungie caves into the casuals and buffs ARs and obliterate HC ranges. And then? The same people who moaned about HCs complain about how broken ARs are for the next 4 months and nerfs them. HCs get buffed and now they’re “busted” again. When will people learn to stop complaining and improve rather than find something to hide their incompetence? Look at now, despite being in an obnoxious fusion meta, people are STILL crying about HC/shotty. That’s all you see on the forums. Watch Bungie nerf HCs and Shotguns again just for Bungie slide us into a DMT/Likely Suspect meta. Then the community will cry, and repeat.

The main reason I lose? Nah. One of the main reasons I'm not having fun? Hoho, yes.

1 commentairethe hard truth, stop cry and get good ,atm the real problems are titan overshield and the new hunter exotic

It’s never the reason. Anyone can use the meta.

1 commentaireIm seeing some fusion rifle builds that allows them to map players at 30 meters, sure it requires some preparation but it just shows how busted fusions can reach in ranges where they clearly do not belong.

2 commentairesModifié par WulfPak666 : 3/29/2022 2:40:36 PMWhile I'm not the best player in the game, I can admit that I like to rush with guns you probably shouldn't rush with and I don't hit my headshots all the time, I'm also not a thumbless wonder and can usually hold my own. However, I cannot and will not settle for a loss when I play matches where people are jitter-skipping around like someone is constantly flicking their wifi node on and off. Connections were bad last season but this season is a whole new level. Oddly enough, Destiny is the only pvp game I play where I am guaranteed to question my deaths because I honestly don't know how the heck I died at least 3-4 times a match, sometimes more. Dying around corners. Getting 1 shot by a primary weapon. Getting killed by a fusion but the game says I died to different gun entirely. Getting nuked out of my super by a primary but the enemy super literally takes like 5 damage from an entire teams bullet hell barrage and kills everyone. Having my guns hit registration literally turn off mid match. Sorry, but how do I go from winning most of my guns fights to straight up not even doing damage when I'm watching my shots land halfway through a game and then end up losing? Like, what?? If anything this game is consistently inconsistent. Come to think of it, I didn't have this many questionable deaths or experiences prior to this Crossplay crap. You'd think expanding the Playerbase by letting us play together would make the match connections less crap. Guess not.

Modifié par DuBChiri2 : 3/28/2022 6:08:10 PMIdk, I feel like their slowness at tuning weapons is kind of old. Nobody uses 360 rpm autos, 450s are garbage everywhere, 720s are good but limited in range, 600s are the best of the bunch but lose out to pulse rifles and handcannons on average due to limitations. Lightweight pulses are ok but they have no place anywhere in the game, though I bank MONEY on outbreak being a monster once they get their tuning this season. Rapid fire shotguns suck. Rapid fire snipers are whatever. Glaives (understandably) suck. Grenade launchers could probably use some tuning to help with latency like improving the weapon flooring within its range (especially after their blast radius nerf). Scouts are scouts, more annoying than good. Kill le monarque in a fire please and thank you. Getting one shot by eriana's vow with the titan overshield is...annoying. they need to increase the hurt box on axion bolt so that they are easier to get rid of. Etc. Most of what I said is more opinionated but you get the idea. The sandbox has still yet to give a good enough distinction to make every weapon viable. Maps don't help auto rifles or scouts because their main competitors already get the job done fine. They still got work to do.

Spare us the lecture about how “truly good PVP” players don’t complain. If you guys lost your ability to spam special ammo I don’t think you’d be considered good PVP players There’s a lot to complain about this game

4 commentairesI know. I run around with a sniper like it’s a shotgun, lose three games to get pinnacle and do more strikes or raids.

Agreed though you will be petty downvoted so enjoy being a 1 upvote until the trolls see it and make it zero. I will add my 2 cents and say its both map and skillcreep. The players remaining are just better and the rest are just bad the game has become the good versus the bad rather than it fair game. You're a good player so you saying the matchmaking is fine is wrong you can't see it from the bad player side because you're often on the winning side and bad in this game is subjective. I'm considered bad but I have unbroken 4 and only fight players of your stats which makes no sense, if I am bad both in the community eyes and on paper why do I fight people of your skill all the time and tend to go 50/50 not 0/100? I don't think there is a way to fix pvp except new maps I have accepted that I have to improve if I don't want to get farmed and thats what it is.

6 commentairessorry but i kinda disagree with that my experience with trails this week was bad when i played warlock i couldn't win 4 games in a row. i decided to switch to Hunter and i went flawless in my first 7 games most of them 5-0 yes map design may helped me on the Hunter also people who can't see invs help with that and finally of course people don't know how to deal with Invisible hunter with fusion so yeah. i don't blame anyone saying bad map or hunters Invisible annoying or whatever meta Bungie allowed it so my advice to you use it and see if it works for you.

As a Hunter main I do have to say that this is the most awesome Titans have ever been as long as they are on your team. Some of them will pop a bubble then when everyone comes into the bubble they'll put their overshield barrier down so we all get overshields. Yeah its weird but its good weird for a change.

Crayon mains lol, *In Titan Saint-14 like voice* “ HA, YOU AMUSE ME LITTLE MAN. CRAYON. HA. YOU MUST BE REFERRING TO THAT ONE TIME A HUNTER GAVE ME CRAYONS AND TOLD ME TO EAT THEM. I THEN TOOK THEM AND STABBED THEM INTO HIS EYEBALL. TOOK SEEING COLORS TO A WHOLE NEW LEVEL. HA. OH WAIT… THAT WASENT WHAT YOU MEANT?”

4 commentairesUsually I'd agree, but honestly if you aren't playing to the meta this season against people who are, a rough time is likely
