(Don’t take it as a flex or anything, just wanted to share) So I don’t raid all too often, and I hadn’t done Vow yet. The day before I had beaten a caretaker Cp but failed in exhibition. I decided it was too much work, so joined a rhulk CP hoping to be taught. Everything was well taught and I was assigned one of the add clear rolls. On the 4th attempt, when we got to rhulk, one of our teammates DC’d (or left, we didn’t know). We decided to carry on as we where halfway through the damage. This left an open spot for splitting buffs and I got a really quick rundown and took the spot. Second damage phase, looking good, only a few tokens down. Third phase, we where praying for the kill (especially as a 5 man team) and we planned to save supers till final stand… To begin with, it looked like the W was secured, but it got to about 6 stacks of darkness where we started to worry, 7,8,9, he only had a slither of health, and 10….. We all died, but we lived! Just a moment after the wipe timer showed up, we were granted mission complete! I go to loot with comms celebrating and I find non other than the collective obligation, sitting in its small engram form on the floor, what an experience. But since RNG clearly didn’t get the memo, I was the only one in our fireteam who got the exotic :(
