Bungie has laid eggs in the past. They have a loooooooong track record of over hyping and under delivering. By all means you do you but to me there is no reason to get excited as they’ve let the collective base down before.

5 commentairesAbsolutely man, I’m hyped too, and those who say they are jaded…. Pffff don’t wanna hear it, I’ve been playing this game since alpha destiny 1 in 2014. I’ve taken some breaks here there for 2-6 months but I always come back. No other game keeps me invested like destiny. Furthermore, No company has stood behind their game like bungie does, good/bad/ugly, they don’t drop the ip. Anthem- was dropped within a year Outriders- was dropped before it even came out (they admitted they wouldn’t live support the game) halo- dev just dropped the ball on that one The division- dropped the ball on endgame, developer left it high and dry after 2 years. Battlefield- what a massive failure that game is, steam ranked it as top 10 worst games of all time, that’s rough. Name another game, that’s a looter shooter, that isn’t a BR, that lasted this long in this era (almost 8years now) with the same developer, I’ll wait. Forums always make me laugh, so many active haters here, for what? Just enjoy the game or quit. I know so many destiny veterans who don’t even look at the forums because the forums don’t represent how the majority of gamers actually feel.

1 commentaireI hope yall dont think Im being 'negative' when I say: I have absolutely zero expectations about this, and Im not optimistic in the slightest. Yes, we all know it's a pretty game. We all know there are guns, and knives, and swords. Yes there have been a ton of improvments since launch. And yes, it is fun to play. However, We all know that the core stuff isnt going anywhere. We know crucible is ridiculous. Cross play is annoying. We know that anything new will dwindle quickly, and the game will become so grindy and repetitive that we will either stop playing, or keep playing for no reason. The ONLY reason I have played.D2 in the last 5 months is for the dungeons. That's it. ALL of the other content is completely irrelevant. And I cant help but think that the only reason they gave the Hive ghosts, is so they can sell us micros of Ghost Finishers.... After Forsaken, Ive really just given up hope that every expansion will be anything more than 8 hours of story, and a few months waiting for another dungeon. I said I would buy the releases until the end and see Destiny through, and I expect to do that. But if the Unixursal ship grind was any indication of what to expect moving forward.....I'll play only the dungeons.

8 commentairesWas really looking forward to crafting my own weapon, but after seeing Khackis' preview vid crafting isn't crafting at all. You obtain deepsight resonance currency through random weapons and have to grind to level up your weapon to have access to the perks you want. A weapon with a predefined set of perks at that. Any excitement hit the floor.

3 commentairesGood for you for getting into the hype but don't let the trailers/ViDoc's and such be overwhelming or you will (most likely) find the actual Expansion somewhat underwhelming. I can't say I didn't feel a twinge of excitement while watching it but I am aware that Bungie is absolutely fantastic when it comes to advertising and loading up a hype train full of passengers. I'm looking forward to it but my expectations are based on reality as well. Treating the game that way has never failed me in enjoying what drops into the game. Hopefully you will find Witch Queen living up to the hype you have right now! 👍🏻

What we DO care about is you pumping money into this absolute garbagefire of a game that is preying on addicts, whales, and has outrageous pricing. What does that result in? It starts seeping into other games. MTXs are getting more and more aggressive, games becoming more and more pay to win and sliced up into smaller portions sold for even more, no passion, no effort, 90% of games that were released last year were blatant cash grabs. Something gets released? You buy it without any consideration. Regardless of what it is. Consoom consoom consoom. That's all it is. I don't care that you spend your life savings in this game because you have absolutely no concept of value, I just simply don't want to see other franchises become like this, because THAT actually affects me. (Although it might be a little too late for that, as execs saw this business model pays, therefore the video game industry is already in a steep downward spiral because soyboys go "OOOH SHINY" for 20$ skins.) The game is a laughing stock outside of it's community, and is barely considered 1 step above Fortnite.
