Would be cool if there were tower breach events, where players had to gather up when alarms start blaring at random times to find and kill/capture enemies invading the tower.
Or maybe a mission would show up on the tower menu and you could join a lot of players and go down to the city and stop a breach or sabotage attempt.
Bungie calls this an mmo, but where is the open world aspects seen in such games where you can go almost everywhere and talk and interact with a lot of npc's that can give you big and small quests, where attacks and deaths have consequences? There's barely nothing of anything mmo in this looter shooter game, so why call it what it isn't?

2 commentairesThis was asked for and discussed at length back in D1 on these Forums. Never going to happen now, because an event like that would be "Work" and "Work is Hard.." for Bungle, so nope.

1 commentaireModifié par JazzyPaladin477 : 12/6/2021 5:57:25 PMI totally though that was what was going to happen when Ikora was building the vex gate in the tower. But nope. We just got a different boss in the Same old seasonal activity…total letdown. Would have made a great “live event” for 3-4 hours. Could have decorated the tower with smashed vex parts for a few weeks after, sweeper bots cleaning up.

14 commentairesIve always wanted bungie to do a defend the tower walls based in the city below the tower. Horde mode, large scale player event (20+ players), traveller above for faster super regen etc

3 commentairesAre you talking about like in Season of the Spicer with the Vex or what?

2 commentairesI would love to be able to capture enemies instead of always killing them(except the Taken,Vex and Hive)

last time someone invaded the tower half of us died

2 commentairesModifié par Demon_XXVII : 12/6/2021 6:15:41 AMLet’s just make sure it’s a Final Event A chance to clear out a race (Cabal/Fallen/Engineer Vex) from the Solar system Forget the ‘truce’ with Caitl & Mithrax Let them all move to Nessus & live in the lost sectors, or finally take out their commands ships So we can finally retire their tired old design & make room for a new threat Combat Vex (about time they rocked up) Hive hybrids & The Veil (6+ unique & fresh types of foe…) AI that learns & adapts, surprises & creates fresh problems Needing forges, stolen/secret tech, weapons/armour & abilities to combat

4 commentairesAlso: decorations! When I joined and started D2 at the end of October it had special decor around Halloween.. Festival of the Lost! Then they removed it, and the Tower looks so empty now. Will we get holiday decor?

4 commentairesIf you want to appeal to Bungie to make this, you'd need to describe the hamster wheel element to this. Where's the grind? Now, if you say it'll cost $30 to unlock it so you could participate, and you need to do it 9,000,000 times like the seraph towers, Bungie might consider it. There would need to be some more monetization opportunities too, like breach specific ornaments for $15 a set. And maybe a really bad sidearm that sucks for both PVE and PVP, but you gotta dangle the proverbial fomo carrot to attract those players that think it might be meta some day so you NEED to get it. And again, more monetization... maybe a seal or a title that when you unlock it by doing this breach event enough times you get access to purchasing a .72 cent toaster with a Bungie sticker at the store for $85 or something, and make sure to have to have employee alts say something like "if you don't buy it you must be broke lololololol" or another classic like "it's only $85, the price of a coffee." Never forget the monetization strategy. You know, since the game is fReE tO pLaY and Bungie's just a poor independent studio trying to keep the lights on :(

2 commentairesFor legal reasons Bungie cannot take Fan-Ideas like this.

Modifié par KayOsS882 : 12/6/2021 7:55:37 PMImagine if giant oryx shows up behind where Lord Zavala stands. That would be an unforgettable sight.

Sounds like fun honestly!

Calm down. Something like this would destroy the game, bungie can't handle Something this complex

4 commentairesAnother idea could be scouting missions to occupied, closed off worlds - a kind of mini-strike. Go in and retrieve some intell or save someone or steal a weapon or defence prototype.

Never have I felt I was playing an MMO game. It felt short of an MMO. Like something is missing. In fact, in all those years, I don't really understand what kind of game Destiny is. Something is missing and I can't put a finger on it. It's like it doesn't have it's own identity. Now they call it an Action MMO game, for whatever that means. There's that MMO again, but it doesn't feel like one. They say it's Action MMO. And so, what about it. The MMO has fallen short it doesn't feel like one. So they are left with just Action. Which doesn't mean anything. After 7 years, game still feels like there's no identity. Just a cash cow game. In the end, when gamers asks what Destiny is. They would say, oh it's just another cash cowing online service game. Like the rest of the cash cow games out there now. Identityless. State of the game!

Would rather get a actual living space for guardians instead maybe we can get the speakers old apartment?

1 commentaireI made a similar post a while back although I suggest guardians rushing do turret controls and shooting down incoming enemey ships.

3 commentairesThat would mean we have shitty security

Lolz, be real, bungie don’t like good ideas
-
Its been what like 4 years and none of the areas have changed? It would be cool if the spawn zones were at least built up or something.

Mmo. Massive multiplayer online. As long as they can make it where a lot of people can play at once it fits the description. It’s suppose to be an rpg game as well. But there idea of that is giving being extremely vague about who the guardian is and references the player as the guardian and playing the pronoun game. But in all seriousness when it boils down to it. World of Warcraft is an mmo rpg style game with a massive open world. Elder scrolls online is an mmo rpg. An regrettably fallout 76 is an mmo rpg or at least embodies the spirit of one. Destiny is no that. It’s t never was that. Never will be that. Why? Because of bungies bad decisions.

Sounds fun

A great idea. Would be fun to just be in the tower and then have to help out
