Pretty much every aspect of hunter subclasses needs reworks. Every high-end activity is extremely easier for Warlock and Titan and it is almost a hindrance to have a Hunter on your team when it comes to GMs and raids. There was already an influx of LFG posts saying (NO HUNTERS) or (MUST BE TITAN OR WARLOCK) but now that the hunter's ONE ability that was great for GMs is getting a massive nerf (dodge) they are literally useless to have on the team. A duskfield can replace their only other purpose.
Arcstrider is literally useless outside of PvP and Nightstalker is being overwritten by seasonal mods, completely rendering both of those subclasses unusable. Even though Nightstalker can make everyone invisible it is still always just better to have another warlock with a rift. Golden Gun + Celestial Nighthawk does less damage than Thunder Crash + Falling Star which is easier to use (how does that make sense btw?) and invisibility is only on ONE class for NO REASON. If Tether gave some damage resistance while inside its radius and if Middle Tree Arcstrider worked like Middle Tree Bubble and made a bigger shield that reflected not only projectiles but shots both would be amazing and actually make them viable in high-end content. Every class has survivability supers except for Hunters which makes absolutely no sense.
Hunter dodge itself needs to apply to teammates around you as well. It makes no sense that it's buff would only apply to you as both Warlock and Titan both have team helping class abilities but for some reason Hunter doesn't have that. Just think about how much more essential Hunters would be if marksman's dodge applied to teammates around you.
I am extremely tired of Hunters being constantly nerfed just because they are the most used class. Shatterdive needed a nerf, but hunters in general just need a massive buff in everything else.
Stop the Hunter Hate Bungie.

Remember void is about to be rebuilt from the ground up. We may see more utility when they break the seal on void.

1 commentaireNot until titans get more maneuverability in subclasses or exotics either twilight garrison or blink

1 commentaireUnfortunately this is an error made by the devs at the start of D2. Back in D1, you wouldn’t dream of seeing one class above another in any activity. Be it pvp or pve. Each class had purpose. Each class had strengths and each had their limitations. And getting into pvp, u had equal number of characters. In D2, in pvp, roughly 80% of the community main hunters. Ease of use. And is effective. You had to work twice as hard to perfect a warlock ( doesn’t include arc soul users) or a titan (which doesn’t include shoulder charging apes). The hunter in D2 was pushed towards pvp. And ever since the nerf to orbs of light/ power, the hunter lost its place in fire team. I get it, super recharge was ridiculous. But the hunter’s role as team support went out the window since then. And the golden gun dps became redundant because a titan can do same if not more damage than a goldie. And rightfully so, since the thundercrash comes with its own risk. So my suggestion is to undo the change to the hunter tether orb generation at least. Because yes. I do feel hunters don’t have a place in pve high end activities. Nothing that a titan or warlock can’t do better. But mind u, the survivability of the hunter is just fine. Especially that ur not soloing a side unless its a choice. Ur always paired with another. Just be smart about it.

Modifié par Fateless148 : 12/6/2021 8:27:44 PMNo disrespect intented, I'd read you post, but it looks like a massive mess. Please try seperating your paragraphs, and including coma's if you Haven't. That aside, i believe I've heard simalar rants on this before. Do correct me if you feel im wrong or missed something. Hunters "appear" to have no place in pve, Hunters can't properly assist a team in pve, Bungie "appears" to not want hunters to have a heavily supportive role in pve. That's what i typically hear from people. Here's my thoughts on hunters, in pve. Hunter's in pve feel like a great solo class, and have decent supportive options already. Smoke grenade for invisibility, with or without omioculous. Just because well and bubble support better, it doesn't mean these are bad. Crowd control with stasis. Just because bleak watcher exists, it doesn't mean revanent isn't good. Nothing in this world is truly created equal. If that were the case, we wouldn't have debates and arguments over what should and should not happen. I feel bungie when they describe how hunter's "to them" aren't supposed to be a heavily supportive class. Most hunters are loner's when you think of the ascetic, of a hunter, or they stick to small groups. Literally in the lore right now, we don't have a hunter vangaurd, cause every hunter that would want the job, doesn't wanna sacrafice the freedom and space they already have. Look at the "tommies matchbook" lore tab for reference. Hunters are intended to not be a heavily supportive pve class, and their's nothing wrong with that. Do describe how your views differ from mine of you feel like it. Im not here to tell anyone how they should or should not feel. I might ask why somebody feels the way they do, but that's as far as i go.

3 commentairesBottom tree tether is the best GM subclass tied with Well and stasis lock so I’d say they are doing just fine, Titans could use some help tho…
-
They do, revenant and tether to help team mates. However, the sow were nerfed. They had vanishing grenades, which also got nerfed. They have arc reflecting super, which I think also got nerfed.
-
They have invis which is great and is only going to get better but I would like to see them have some better dps and burst damage options that’ll be viable for end game pve. I think it’s fitting for the assassin, rouge type class the hunter takes.

8 commentairesMany solo GMs are done on Hunter. Have you tried improving yourself?
-
9 commentairesLol. Typical hunter. Need to be op at everything.
-
9 commentairesFirst of all, Hunters are great at pve and the only people that don’t think so are those that saw a clickbait YouTube video saying Hunters suck and just blindly believe it. Second, all classes have their strengths and weakness and what you are asking for is to make them all identical. I don’t understand why so many of you act so proud that you only play one character but there is a reason you can create more than one character at a time.
-
Shatterdive literally got a massive pve buff lol
-
Yes please bungie take hunters out of PVP completely so I don't have to deal with them manipulating the game anymore
-
Tether is awesome, being able to turn your team invisible is awesome... stasis hunters for a damage buff is awesome... guessing you dont play GMs or raid?
-
The Heart of the Pack buff is so underrated. Quickdraw, max reload speed, snapshot sight, handling and aim assist on all weapons. Great for hotswapping weapons

1 commentaireAnybody who doesn't want Hunters in late game PvE probably isn't a Hunter main. Hunters are still quite viable in late game content, especially in GM Strikes like the Fanatic, where you can shut down all the ads with Deadfall and Orpheus Rig and just get your whole Super back with all the energy you generate. Deadfall's invisibility is also the safest way in the game to get rezzes on GM. Hunters are also probably the best class to run Thermoclastic Strike mod, since every subclass affected by it has a ranged option, with Stasis having two (in case that darn Overload Captain teleports). This frees up a weapon slot, which is pretty slept on. Then you have Mobius Quiver with Omnioculus, gives your whole team Heart of the Pack buff, Invis, two Smoke Charges and energy recharge based on how many teammates are affected. This means you can literally just run through parts of the Strikes that are tedious and slow and your whole team is totally safe. This ability alone made parts of the Corrupted much more bearable. I do agree that a lot of Hunter's old exotics could use some cleaning up. Star Eater's Scales are more powerful than Nighthawk and lets you keep all three shots. Orbs of Power are very easy to generate in late game content, so it's not like getting an 8 stack is difficult. Let's call a spade a spade here. It's not that Hunters can't do late game content. It's that they can't cheese it as well.

4 commentairesNot that I disagree with this in general but how is GG harder to use than TC? You literally aim a gun with huge aim assist from safety! TC you land in harms way! Hunters do need buffs in PVE but this should be matched with nerfs for PvP where they are far too strong and utterly dominant.

2 commentairesSurvivability? Stop running 30 resilience

I agree 100% that hunters need more options for endgame PvE. I'm enjoying revenant this season with the artifact mods but its still not the best. Buff PvE Hunters!
-
10 commentairesI think I read somewhere that all void subclasses are getting devour, I hope that's true.
-
They're literally the edgy lone wolf class...wtf were you expecting?
-
1 commentaireIn D1 there was a way to play lightning blades where you could crouch for invis anytime which was great for PvE support when everyone else died and you could run around rezing people. Not sure why they didn’t carry kneel to invis in D2

That's scrub talk. I like being selfish
-
Weird because I’ve been playing a lot lately on my hunter and have been soloing a ton of harder content with ease.
-
I think they should make it that tether stacks with all debuffs, no matter what.

Lmao, I thought this was gonna be about pvp
