These would pop up at random after completing a patrol mission. You got hints eventually but you had to figure out the objectives from trying different things.
Emote/dance to express feelings
Get precision/critical kills
Pick up/ gather resources
Create orbs etc.
Did you like or dislike these?

I abandoned them.

Do a task everyone complains about in other areas of the game, now do it as a guessing game for functionally nothing. I thought they were cool when they came out but theyre a bit dated

1 commentaireThese were unintuitive, unrewarding, and awful. Never liked them. It wasn't fun, it was basically a guessing game until you suddenly see progress. A lot of games and players like these kinds of objectives for some reason where you have nothing to go on so you just mess around until 'something happens'. It's not good game design it's just removing UI and wasting time.

3 commentairesModifié par mja calg : 11/10/2021 4:42:13 PMThose sorts of things aren't in D2 because they required some thought and effort, and as we can see from the recent seasons, it's not about the game or the players, it's about the amount of money they can squeeze out of us for the absolute minimum of work. All Destiny is now is a Cash Cow to fund Bungles other 3 IP projects. Can we all say Mooooooo?

1 commentaireThe game lost those developers a long time ago
-
There’s a dancing one on Europa
-
1 commentaireWhy was atmosphere of D1 so much better? It just was
-
I loved when they teased dlc just before release! Crota's knights, Fallen on Venus where we could farm chest keys and finally the ??? Taken patrols. All were awesome imo
-
25 commentairesAnother reason why D1 was better.

IMO D1 had more players willing to explore. D2 Bungie made it to where most things are handed out to you. There is no "mystery" in that.

3 commentairesI'd rather more Heroic Patrols like the "kill X target" ones on Europa.
-
1 commentaireDefinitely a small touch that'd be nice to have back, especially if they were even more cryptic and actually could lead to something.
-
3 commentairesI remember these. Corny and dumb but also fun 👍🏻
-
I always liked these
-
They were fun in the beginning, but then the same thing happened as with all the Destiny stuff: They never updated it and it became a chore -- "Ok, let's see if it's the dance one... no... get some headshots... no... " FWIW I do like the Europa patrols were updated -- but why didn't they update all the other patrols at the same time? Because Bungie hates to go back update old stuff. They don't think it's worth their time.
-
1 commentaireI found them incredibly stupid and annoying, keep them gone
-
1 commentaireModifié par Demon_XXVII : 11/10/2021 7:31:47 PMI recall them Having to unscramble the letters But they were tedious (like many patrols - especially scan area/hunt the target) Have no place in D2 I’d rather a hybrid system - kill XYZ bosses in ABC lost sectors 3-4 of these patrols = pinnacle armour/weapon (specific to that location)
-
6 commentairesIs that what we need? More patrol?
-
2 commentairesRecently, someone posted regarding XUR being too easy to find/needs new hang out locations. How about one of these leading to some space-magic portal/elevator thing that leads to him with extra loot? Just thinking out loud....and I loved the D1 "Blow their Heads off" Mystery missions. Almost always exclusive happened on Mars for some reason.

1 commentaireTHOSE WERE SO FUN I remember just sitting there confused on what I had to do so I just did random stuff some of them required you to just dance. LOL
-
1 commentaireI had nothing against those. I just dont think they were usefull at all Just fun to do once
-
3 commentairesModifié par thatdudeEd54 : 11/10/2021 2:32:09 PMAh, you mean the patrol missions every one abandoned cause they didnt have the time nor patience to figure it out?
-
actually, those came back for Beyond Light. But I believe there was used for some sidequest/lore minor parts. But they only show up to complete certain parts and that was it.
-
I forgot about those Those d be nice again
-
Maybe they are??
-
I liked them. They were frustrating at first, but entertaining. Though, they are pointless in D2, because there's barely nothing to do on planets anymore since Shadowkeep.
