Can we please stop doing this
I dont mind grinding for hours on end to get a catalyst for my exotic weapons what I can't stand is being forced to play Crucible.
I understand that you get this catalyst boost when you get to level 22 but does it matter if people that you encounter in Crucible can just one shot you before you can even fire back?
"Why dont you take advantage of Momentum Control?" And then what? Get one to two tapped? I had 4 games were I was forced to camp bc I cant get a kill with the Cryosthesia since every time I try to some guy with recluse or bygones or trace rifle would just one tap me.
"Why not play regular PVP?"
You're out of your mind. Cryosthesia's DPS is shit.
I truly despise Crucible and anyone that revel in it. Please Bungie please, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! No more forced Crucibles play, please.
I want to leave Crucible to the sweat lords and I dont want to take part in their madness.

5 commentairesSo...I get the crucible hate. It's become a real sweatfest. But even the worst player still gets a kill now and then. If you're so bad at pvp that you can't finish a catalyst even with the boost, you may need to just sit back and think about your performance as a player. Cause if you can't even get ONE kill every couple games, somethings wrong on YOUR end.

3 commentairesSimple solution bungie could make. Give the option to focus the activity you want to do to level it up. It's been done plenty of times before, ritual weapons and bounties for example. This way people who -blam!- about crucible dont have to do it there and pvp players dont -blam!- they have to play pve. Boom problem solved

Momentum Control is the key to success. That gun is shit in pvp but hey with that mode plus the bonus you only need 13 kills. It's doable.

Winning with a sidearm requires playing with a level of aggression that is practically suicidal in a game with that fast a TTK. Go back to Control for the sake of your own peace of mind.

This quest isnt to bad, its aggravating in momentum control qith everyone using trace rifles but not to bad. Try using ticuus in momentun control that dumb quest.

Bruh I got the crucible kills done in one match... Combo it with a bow/sniper... get them low then swap to sidearm for clean up... its not that hard. You aren't being "forced" into crucible... you don't need the catalyst. The same argument can be said for PvE, but I understand that if i'm not willing to put in the effort toward PvE activities, I just won't get the stuff. I'm "forced" into legend lost sectors to obtain the new exotic armour right? You don't see PvP players complain about that... The one thing I don't like is having to go through the story missions multiple times to get stasis/exotics. Shadow keep was draining enough the first time around, I don't want to do it again for the exotics, same with stasis.

No point in complaining honestly as this is not an issue. Doesn’t matter how bad you are at PvP it’s only 13 kills, At worst you just follow around your teammates and steal their kills. As for the stasis pistols use in PvP? It’s no where near as bad as you say it is, it’s got a really fast TTK (As most sidearms do) It’s way stronger then Ticuu’s in PvP

I mostly used it to clean up and get the last little bit of damage after hitting them with an arsenic bite bow that also has explosive damage. It sucked, but I got it eventually just playing control. Hope that helps

6 commentairesI still haven't completed the Suros catalyst that I got over a year ago. It's a pretty decent gun to be fair to it, but 300 crucible kills to unlock the catalyst... No thanks. When there is no iron banner you will find me playing crucible for 3 matches a week. 300 kills, talk about trying to force me to play your terrible PvP sandbox bungie. Some of these catalyst quests need some serious updating, completely agree.

Join the club friend, me too, I have had to try and do the same, one or two players in every team getting 35-40 kills, the rest struggling to make 15, I might get 5 per game, killed probably 15 times. Lots of mercied games as a result too. I admit I am crap at PVP, but having use a feather, it really is a bit unfair on tose of us who rarely play PVP and are happy to admit being useless.

I'm shit it's not difficult 12 guardian kills with the boost on I just can't be bothered to get the pve kills now cause I realised I have no need for a waste of an exotic sidearm

2 commentairesThats usually the easiest one for me, well they are all easy. I rather kill 50 guardians over having to kill 500 pve enemies. Both are time consuming but at least im having fun killing guardians with cheesy builds. I cant stand the mind numbing pve enemies.

Maybe I’m just “experienced”, but sidearm kills are preeeeeeetty easy to get. Depending on the lobby of course. The trick is to aim at players from the other team and pull the trigger. Oh and if you are more than like 15 meters away from a dude, you’re doing it wrong.

1 commentaireAgreed, i have past catalyst quests i didnt do or refused to do... now that im wanting to complete these old catalyst quests like arianas vow etc etc its gonna take me 200+ crucible matches to complete a small fraction of the quest because the catalyst boosts dont effect past catalysts which is stupid. I generally dont like PvP, i wish we had 2 ways to get these either via challenging pve activities or PvP gameplay.
