Just answering your question as to why one would use stasis in GM. But after using it once, there isn't a definite need to use it again.

Someone like me who isn't a very good player, my stasis warlock is a game changer for me. I kid you not.... I had one last GM to do to gild my Conqueror title (INSIGHT TERMINUS), and the turrent was taken off line Saturday. I freaked out. I failed 5 in a row without capturing plates (those turrents were going to help me). Finally, I had to call in the big dogs in our two clans and I got the clear to gild Conqueror. Truth be told, it was quite a stressful Saturday for me once it was disabled (I'm not a very good player)

I mean so does using technically anything in gms but you dont see people out here using auto rifles in gms

I 2 manned proving grounds with revenant and camo hunter, so stasis is good. Better than arc and solar on hunter.

Who said required? It’s just another element. On certain gms, it is quite useful.

i have completed a lot of gm, and can't be bothered using cheesy tactics like freezing

Cheesy is ursa’s. Stasis is great paired with aeons. What do you run?

double cloak with osmosis hand cannon for void unstoppable hc, polaris lance with anti barrier for inf ammo, and sleepless with chain reaction for arc.. i run every element, am reviver, and blow everything up

Some people think camo is cheesy. Whatever works for you. I run everything, even ursa’s in Glassway last season. I like Ticcu’s a lot, can’t go in without a sniper though. Stasis is good, and not cheesy at all, though I admit the turret makes gms a little too easy. I’ve 2 manned a few gms because if stasis.

thats why i think its cheesy, you do not need anti barrier to kill barriers and such.. all u have to do is freeze them 24/7

Freezing them actually makes them harder to kill. When ever a overload/unstoppable gets frozen they stop being stunned and you do crap damage. When barriers get frozen even when you drop their shield they continuously keep putting it up no matter what. Freezing them seriously makes them harder than actually just killing them like you’re supposed to.

I don’t use freezing on champions unless I’m in a bad spot, I find it glitches them out and they regen health faster sometimes, freezing is great against gladiators though. Getting infinite grenades with controverse is cheesy too, Eso uses it all the time. Well and ursa’s is cheesiest of all.
