Why is heir apparant back as the reward? Why cant you guys make something NEW for a yearly event? You even cancelled crimson days this time and still couldn't!? Fotl also has been the same haunted forest for 3 years now, same with dawning - these events kinda suck, they were supposed to be the tradeoff for creating eververse but have regressed so badly theyve become more eververse enablers and offer little to nothing for free.

Is it sinking in? Is it an "i" or an "l" in BUNGlE? I would like to think it is still an "i". You guys don't even know why players use Lament and Falling Guillotine. Hints: Initial Burst DPS versus Sustained DPS. "Artificial" Immunity phases. Inconsistent champion regeneration and stun mechanics. If swords were actually easy mode, then more players would be doing endgame and lost sectors, instead of posting complaints on your forum. The best players don't care either way... they finished the GM with a dubious "cheese" long before you could patch it for the rest of the community. They will get their adept weapons and mods. For every one of THEM, there are at least 20 who quit playing. Hell of a business model. Your seasonal challenge model idea- Great Your decisions on challenges and timing of releasing challenges - not an "i"... unless you were hoping to alienate players and artificially inflate play time. Wrong kind of player engagement. You seem to focus on things that impact your vision of gameplay and ignore all the things your customers have been complaining about. In fact, you don't even address them until enough of the customers leave and it starts to impact profits.... or investment in future releases. Even then you only half heartedly change it. YAH Looking at you SUNSETTING... Another great business strategy. NOT. Based on your track record, there is more repetitive grind incoming. NOT FUN. My expectations for Guardian Games are pretty low. It doesn't really seem you learned anything about why the event went the way it did last year... I hope I am wrong but from the changes you proposed, and the list of "known issues" before the event even starts... Not putting any money on it being "rewarding", other than normal play chatting with friends. Yah this post is critical and sarcastic. After 7 years you are still hitting too many long foul balls... Wondering why I even bother to take the time to post at this point....maybe because despite the missteps I actually like the game. There is still a lot to like. There could be more home runs instead of foul balls. I would be happy with consistent base hits. Considering Destiny is the cost of 12 Venti Starbucks Mochas... well it is a pretty good bargain too. My Two cents (since this is a Forum for feedback and I want the game to improve): Look at your "data" but before you make changes, start asking a cross section of players why they don't do certain content, why they don't play more, and what they find problematic... They may not be able to articulate everything but you will get a better sense of what is working and what is not. Then look at your data again. Then give the community real feedback. These are things we heard and are fixing/ working on. Actual feedback that says you are listening to Customers, not just a weekly adverstisement that will fall short of its Hype anyway. There are bright signs that you are trying... but do more about substantive items instead of just Dinosaur vs. Monster armor or exotic ornaments. Make it a great game.

The way I see it you have 2 options. Continue the stupid, pointless, dumb, boring, yoyo cycle of seasons were you climb up the ladder of progression only to be put back to were you started 90 days later. You can continue playing a game where there hasn't been any new mobs or mechanics introduced since 2017. You can continue playing a game were there is no compelling story line. Or you can Play Outriders

How about Bungie put some real effort into this game by making some actual content worth playing instead of relying on time fillers and Eververse. Is this the best they can come up with without Activision that they were so proud of them leaving when this game was actually getting new content that was worth playing? Hmm, here is an idea, why don't they create a destination, it doesn't have to be large but it will serve their purpose of creating this game, and it will save them money and resources as they have been trying to do because they don't want to invest in the game... It's perfect, and the Bungie fans will love it. Create a hamster wheel and put it right in the center of the destination. Nothing else needs to be created, and if Bungie makes it large enough players can create a fire team so they can invite their friends. Bungie can even make it have matchmaking and really make the ones that have been asking for this for years really happy. Ooh! and when it spins fast enough it lights up to give them that incentive they deserve to keep that wheel spinning. But, no more than 12 at the destination, because you don't want issues with load time and anyone getting booted to orbit 👍

Ya I’m not doing this. Seriously? The carrot at the end of the stick is the same mouldy carrot as last yet? Do better. *******SPARROW RACING LEAGUE******* It’s right there. It’s an actual guardian game. Already coded. Low hanging fruit. Everybody wants it. If you are going to recycle something recycle one of the best events Bungie has ever done. You could recycle this for years over and over with a new(or recycled) track added every guardian games. Why won’t you do it? Some sort of weird pride thing? Rewards wise, at the very least you could have copy/pasted heir apparent to just give it another element and a new name. Imagine if that element was stasis! The first usable stasis weapon, would be fitting seeing that we are in the midst of a stasis/darkness themed story. This would have taken very little effort. Nobody cares about the eververse stuff.
