probably to avoid headshots, most of the time it doesn't even works because of bullet magnetism though

I have seen a few guys doing it. How can the do it and shoot at the same time?
-
Not sure on console but, i would guess by rebinding the crouch to crouch (hold), so that every time you pressed the key you immediately crouch and stop crouching, and you just spam it
-
Is it a type of cheating?
-
If they have a controller with paddles on the back it makes it a lot easier. The harder method would be to play while clawing and no, it isn’t cheating

Honestly, if blink gets a cooldown, so should this. Rapid crouching has no real viable purpose other than tea bagging or doing this. It wouldn't have a negative impact to anything but would remove another tool that the desperate use and level the field for weapons that don't have the insane magnetism so they can still try to compete with those that do.
-
You can call them desperate but if it wins them a gunfight, even if it’s just one, it’s worth doing. I see no reason to police crouch spam. It’s rarely seen and even if someone is doing it, it isn’t that difficult to combat. If someone is mashing crouch, they’ll be doing so at a constant rate which makes someone even more predictable than if they were effectively strafing.

I use the claw method and its definitely possible in all shooters.
-
Yeah it pretty easy but not the most comfortable. I haven’t used paddles but I just assume it’s a better method.
-
Its probably because i play games where i need to spam a lot whilst pressing other buttons on the same side of the controller like Red Dead where you need to spam X to sprint whilst also shooting, but for me it feels natural.
-
I just get PTSD from Dark Souls speedruns. Having to turn the camera in conjunction with constantly holding down the run button lead to many cramped hands.
-
Since i mentioned Red Dead, i remember a clan was threatening us, and at the time all about 15 of us had nothing going on, so we decided to screw it and shoot them, that fight lasted 8 hours and my fingers were burning by the end.
-
8 hours? I bet that was intense
-
Not sure how much you play Red Dead but it took place in the watchtower near Annesburg, so most of the fight was just a switcheroo trying to keep hold of the high ground, i was sitting back with a sniper for most of the fight so i probably racked up quite some kills compared to others, we ended up losing but it was close.
-
No I never played
-
Well like i described it, imagine a giant hill with a tower on the top, with 15 vs 17 people fighting to keep the flag up

Modifié par Eazy-E : 3/1/2021 6:34:21 PMSounds pretty fun , I might have to check the game out just for that encounter. Do you respawn?
-
Modifié par Zak : 3/1/2021 6:43:17 PMAnd yes, you respawn like in GTA or Destiny.

Its free roam pvp, so basically an open world map, and on Red Dead clans will sometimes band the whole server together to fight for whatever reason, the game is decent but i advise against investing yourself too much into the pvp, theres a lot of bullshit tactics and methods and the pvp tryhard community is beyond terrible (i'm not talking just hate mail or salty screaming through the mic) Actually its better to avoid large groups at all, i may sound paranoid here but if you do get the game, trust me. When the fight is fair, it is fun having a large scale fight though.
