The disconnects I was having for months all apoeared to be due to my ISP have upstream congestion. It took 5 months and dozens of tech calls and then working past the ISP regular residential tech support to reach thier business tech support people. And 2 tech visits that finally ended with a manager arriving and acknowledging the time frame if my issues coincided with a physical change to the system in my area. It was evident by the almost routine outages at peak times that resulted in an almost complete loss of upstream bandwidth. Everything was good back to thier system center but it seemed to be how I was routed in the center before connecting to the internet. A few days after the visit my gateway and IP changed and although it is a bit slower I have had only a few disconnects that were short lived and I can not tell you if it was ISP or some other part if the connection path. It is 99% better so maybe start traking packet loss to several internet destinations when you get a disconnect. If it has any loss at all it is likely because of your ISP having issues combined with the surge in internet traffic due to the pandemic.
