Bigger vault, better sorting options, transfer tool needed.
Having 3 different classes can fill up the vault is no time. The vault need to be at 1000 for inventory size. Also there needs to be more advanced sorting. You need to add a section in the director to let you transfer items between characters and too and from the vault. And for God sakes add and auto delete for blue items, Or just stop giving us blue items.
Edit: a lot of people are telling me that I should use the apps and I am aware of them and I do use them. they are what made me make this post. I feel that if they properly developed this game then we wouldn't have to use apps on an external device.

Is there a game play or game mechanic reason why the vault is limited to 500? I like to craft and leave mods on. Like I might have 2 solar helmets with similar stats, but vastly different mods. I honestly forget about all the mod options and it’s easier to leave the modded armor in the vault. So I run out of space all the time.

I tend to keep weapons and armor that MIGHT be useful at some point. I've got a few Year 2 armor pieces with Reserve mods just in case I want to put them on for that one extra round when rallying the flag. I'm also the kind of person that keeps loads of armor with decent stat rolls just in case one is perfect for a new build. I am constantly at 500 slots full. What will increasing to 1000 slots do? I'll collect another 500 pieces of loot I'll never use. Increased Vault space is not the answer. The answer is an update to the Collections system. Part of the issue with hoarding currently is that most gear cannot be reacquired. Holy hell. You do NOT need more than 500 slots in a vault. That is just hoarding nonsense. Though I would happily take some filter options. Usually takes me a few these days to find what I am looking for.

If you're having problems with 500 space sounds like a you problem. I have every god roll wep and armors, even tho 60% of them are sunsetted and still have 100 - 150 free space

It's pretty disappointing that you get GIGABYTES of FREE storage from many companies (like Google for example) but Bungie can't give us a seasonal vault space bump when our entire inventories are probably only a few MEGABYTES in a database in a game a lot of us pay for.

99% agree. Also in-game weapon/armor loadouts. (Loadouts in e.g. the excellent Ishtar feel hackey, and are hard to maintain.) The start of this season gave me a short reprieve (as one could dismantle 300 items from the Vault), but I’m back at 499. Start of next season is going to be very painful (not many sunset pieces of gear coming in this transition).

Bungie and the Ninjas have repeatedly stated that the postmaster should not be used as a reserve, hence they decided that we should only have a max of 10 ascendant shards. However every week Bungie expects players to spend between 1 and 7 ascendant shards for each character the sole purpose to optimize their loadout; as elemental damage modifiers in GM nightfalls are different every week, hence 4 legendary gear plus 1 exotic gear could need an elemental switch. This proves that the 10 ascendant limit is totally inconsistent with what Bungie designs.

I'd be happy with tabs for each weapons class.

It definitely needs a bit of a review and update. Just having extra sorting options e.g. weapon type, , weapon frame, class, max power, armour piece category would go a long way in making inventory management feel like less of a tedious chore and therefore allow people to focus more on enjoying their game time.

6 commentairesI'm the guy who doesn't raid, I don't do Nightfalls or any other end game. I play every now and then on one character, and I'm here to tell you there is plenty of vault space and that you're hoarding stuff in a game that revolves around loot.

If you’d have told me even during the D1 beta, because we noticed how small the original vault was even then, and it’s not much bigger now from what I understand, that people would still be complaining about it 7 years later. Wild. Don’t take this as criticism of you, it’s not. It’s criticism of Bungie.

While I may not agree with the vault increase - I most definitely agree on having better tools added so that we can manage our inventories more efficiently.

Surely by now we should have load outs too Going to the vault in the tower, we should be able to group items into class Delete blue and gather postmaster items from the game hud.

I fully support everything in this post except the OP complaining and attacking everyone else and calling them negative, it's against the code of conduct. 1) I want a bigger bank, I want to be able to carry 999 of any resource including ascendant sharts (I said what I said). 2) I want many many many more sorting options both in the app and in the tower. I should be able to search by weapon perk! 3) I should be able to type in "demolitionist" and see all my weapons with that perk in my bank or inventories. 4) I should be able to see good posts without the OP ruining the experience with edits complaining in their original posting, thus ruining the vibe of the discussion and throwing it off the rails. 5) I should be able to carry 999 Enhancement Prisms. 6) I should be able to sort by weapon type in the bank and not just element.

But Whether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let’s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta’aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.
