1 commentaireFor me the biggest dread is the power grind reset. Easily the worst gear score system in any game when it dictates way too much of ones access to content. If it was just a stupid prestige number and didn't have jack shit to do with difficulty or accessibility it would be fine for me. But anyways see ya next major DLC when the power grind is made meaningless with a balancing.

4 commentairesYa. I have 3 sets of masterwoked armour (one for each character) that will be useless in 2 weeks. If I dismantle it, I get a miniscule fraction of what I put in to it back to me, especially the "Golf Balls". I have zero enthusiasm to play, knowing that all my effort will again be wiped out by Bungle in another year.

3 commentairesThe big blow already happened. The damage is already done. We are losing 21 weapons in a couple of weeks but Bungie already Sunsetted 300+. I lost 50-60 weapons that I loved to use regularly and in 2 weeks I'm losing 4-5. Most of my favorite armor is good until 1310 or higher but its all the weapons in my vault with a 1060 cap that I'm salty about.

I’ve been trying to replace my 1260 armour... got almost all the pieces changed... next season will be brutal though I lose pretty much everything

I don’t mind sun setting. I have good gear that will last a year. I think it is good to be constantly adapting to to new armor and weapons.

3 commentairesAll my armor is 1410. Only Seraph weapons are 1360 so all good for 2 more seasons. Maybe they will have good replacements by then. Who knows...

I used the multiple months the last season was extended to find gear to 1360 and now have many that are good till 1410,all masterworked and good for a year.I'm sure I will run into a lot more gear along the way in the next year to keep replacing. None of the materials required to masterwork are hard to get so that is a non-issue.

1410...all masterworked and ready to go (except exotics). I don't even look at armor drops anymore unless base stat total is through the roof. I really don't see what the big deal is.

I have nothing in my vault besides a few 1060 items that will sunset, so yeah kinda ready.

To be honest, it gave me the motivation to farm adept weapons they last longer than one season from now.

Does it really matter to grind like that since its gonna be retired after 1yr. so workable is good enough.

I have enough time for the one character and I got his gear straight away, and enough materials to masterwork the next seasons gear.

I definitely wouldn't mind if Bungie removed random loot and gear score all together. Static weapons and armor with only ornaments and shaders for variety... Current Gaming Trends dictate the loot system though. Gamers want the endless grind, an obsession I guess. Bungie couldn't please everyone. If you're burnt out just take a break. I’m assuming this is a reference to us being back to the tedious power grind in 2 weeks with the new season, rather than sunsetting? Yes, I look forward to buying modules so I can play IB - doesn’t everyone?!?! 🤣
