To those who say "stop playing if you don't like it"
You realise what the point of a feedback forum is right? You give feedback so that they improve the game you love. Or are you willing to be strung along like a dog regardless of where they abandon you? Imagine if there had been no feedback for D2 Y1 and people had given up and moved on, would that have made you happy? A silent community is a dead community.

98 commentairesTell someone your opinion once? You’re giving them valuable feedback. Continue to rage about sunsetting and structural changes to the game almost a year after they were announced? You’re trying to control...and you aren’t going to control what Bungie does. Because it’s their game and their property. Point? If you never get to the point where you are willing to get up, uninstall the game and walk away? All you’re doing is nagging. Demanding that everyone around you change, but are unwilling to do anything differently yourself. Seriously, what would happen IRL if someone hated the food and service at a restaurant. But instead of going to eat somewhere else, they show up every night, take a seat at the bar and rage at the staff and the management...and insult the patrons? 1. The owners would eventually ask you to leave...and call the police if you refused to leave willingly. 2. The patrons would eventually tell you to STFU and go eat somewhere else, because your antics are ruining their meal.

"I cant even bring myself to play anymore!" "Destiny feels like a chore and I'm forced to do activities." "Activision needs to come back" "Bungie needs to sell its IP for Destiny to survive." "Bungie is dead" These aren't meaningful feedback, yet comments like these plague this forum. It's the ranting of people who are probably better off playing something else they might enjoy more.

Honestly its time to just abandon this game for good, there is no reason to be here anymore. Armor and weapons sunset just to regrind the SAME gear over again. Half the game removed, no good gear at all really, no good quest weapons to grind for, one raid, the cancer that is stasis in crucible.

Depends on the context. If The community is silent either, 1. They’re happy with the game or 2. People are sick and tired and no longer care and stop playing. Trust me, a silent community will bring more attention to bungie when they realize that everyone left the game.

They were forced to make massive changes to the crucible because no one played it during the two primary system. With the introduction of the freeze mechanic, I haven’t played D2 in weeks. You can complain all you want, but bungie won’t change if you keep giving them money and playing their game.

You do realise most feedback is ignored though? Stopping playing / paying is the only ‘feedback’ Bungie really takes seriously. For example after the launch of D2 when numbers were tanking we had regular updates on what the updates were, when they would be coming, the roadmap. People slowly returned and forgot - now they sit on the hamster wheel not having any fun but too scared to get off. Why would Bungie change or spend money on further development when they see people are hooked like Pavlov’s dogs?

If anyone finds the game or direction that bad, then play something else or take up white water rafting or something 🤷♂️ It's also worth noting that giving feedback is largely pointless in the first place. It is incredibly unlikely to have any effect on the game.

6 commentairesNobody is saying be silent. Just so many people just shit post because they suck at PvP or one small thing changed that they personally didn’t like. It’s a game that a lot of people play, not every single thing is going to be to our personal preference. It’s one thing if forum discussions could be civilized discussions but thats mostly not the case.
