Not really.
I buy a concert ticket knowing that it'll be finished in a couple of hours.
I open a bottle of wine knowing it'll be empty after dinner.
I look in the mirror knowing I'm one day older and one day nearer my expiration date.
Not having access to the ability to upgrade some pixels after a year isn't a worry.
i've been buying games for decades. the content is still there on 99.99% of them.
Me too, my first console was Pong and my first handheld was Astro Wars in what, '79 or '80? I've played a lot of games and how many am I still playing? Destiny 2. Refreshing content is the only way to keep the game alive. I'd rather all this change than a D3.

But honestly how many of those games do you still play now or have you in reality vaulted them so that one day if you want to play them again you can load it in and nostalgicly capture your past experience.
