Im a PvP focused player, and I got banned two months yesterday because of "inconsistent internet connection."
The reason im here is because it's not fair that I got banned. I have received plenty of messages of angry players reporting me because they lost on quick play matches and it's because me and my teammates do emotes when we don't like the way that they play. They know that Destiny's ban system acts on the number of reports a player has. And that is what bothers me, because it doesn't have anything to do with my connection, it's stable. It's just angry sweaty players that report because they lost. I've been playing since Destiny 1 and I have never been in this situation and this concerns me. I hope someone could help me solve this problem

Hey there! The #Help forums are not able to assist with appeals of restrictions or bans. However, there is a process in place for you to appeal your ban or restriction. Please review the Contact Form: Appeal Ban or Restriction article found here. Please note that, as mentioned in the article, there is no guarantee for a response, nor is there a guarantee that your ban or restriction will be overturned. For more information on Bungie's policy regarding bans and restrictions, please review the policy here.
They know that Destiny's ban system acts on the number of reports a player has.
This isn't correct. They may investigate your account based on number of reports, but they don't take any action unless their investigation has evidence of problems with the account. They won't ban or restrict you just because a lot of people reported you.

Modifié par Decca0805 : 10/19/2020 9:12:09 AMIt appears to me your restriction has likely been placed following suspicious trials matches. A ban is probably going to follow for whichever teammate was cheating, or all three of you. Suspicious matches I reference are four consecutive victories all lasting exactly the same amount of time (roughly 6 mins 40 seconds) in which neither team reached the total number of kills needed for a match to be won, on October 16th

You were not banned, you were restricted. And if you are at the two month restriction, that means you had the warning as well as the two week restriction and did nothing to resolve your connection issues. People weren't reporting you because you emoted...they reported you because you were likely blinking all over the map, without using the blink ability.
