It just makes pvp worse than it already is.
Edit: I was tired and angry when making this post. While it does feel like this thing exists in the game I can’t be completely sure because I do not work at bungie. The moral of the story is they need to have a team balancing system because I’m sick of getting stomped or stomping the other team (yes, both are boring).

I've seen Cosmo for sure say Bungie doesn't directly force a win/loss. What you won't see him or ANY other person from bungie say is their algorithm or computers don't make a 50/50 win loss. They deny it because they don't "directly" do it themselves. Just take one look at Destiny Tracker ELO and its very apparent it is entirely too consistent to be coincidence.

I can't stop this feelin', deep inside of me Girl, you just don't realize, what you do to me When ya hold me in your arms, so tight You let me know, everything's all right I, I'm hooked on a feelin' High on believin', that you're in love with me Lips are sweet as candy, the taste stays on my mind Girl, you keep me thirsty for another cup of wine I got it bad for you girl, but I don't need a cure I'll just stay addicted and hope I can endure All the good love, when we're all alone Keep it up, girl, yeah ya turn me on I, I'm hooked on a feelin' High on believin', that you're in love with me All the good love, when we're all alone Keep it up, girl, yeah ya turn me on I, I'm hooked on a feelin' I'm high on believin', that you're in love with me

Mine is 55% it is in the game!!! I solo everything pvp comp, quickplay etc.
-
Not sure why people are denying it. It was implemented in Destiny 1 in The Taken King expansion and has been here ever since. It's not in comp or trials of course, but it definitely exists in quickplay. The only way to get around it is to play stacked. If you're a solo player, bungie's algorithm tries to control if you win or lose. It's also designed to let every player have "hero" moments, that's why the guy who was 0.2 k/d and on the bottom in the last game is suddenly an unstoppable god in the next game. I know you've seen it happen.

Whether you like it or not (I'm guessing 'not'), Bungie needs to have some method of balance control. Since you guys throw a tizzy every time they hint toward skill-based matchmaking, they need to find that balance elsewhere, that 'elsewhere' is usually in weighted teams to balance out win ratios. Whinge about it all you like, but this is most likely the reason that you even find yourself with a >50% win rate in the first place. It's a difficult truth to accept, but all games have some form of balancing in their algorithm. TL;DR - You can't have it both ways. You were given the option to let skill be the deciding factor on who should win and lose and you squandered it, now the algorithm chooses for you...

My win ratio is lower than 50%. It must clearly already be removed.

Modifié par GMDeece7 : 9/25/2020 7:01:54 AMI think teams are made based on Elo in destinytracker. So if you continue winning for a while (without a consistent team) the game tries to balance out your higher Elo by giving you garbage players. By this design, it means that having a high outlier Elo and not having a full team will eventually put you with bad teammates continually (also keep in mind. If your in the low Elo bracket, your at a significant disadvantage every game you play. Your being matched with 1 good player while yours and the rests skills and Elo are bad Your going to lose much more often).
-
The catch up mechanics become very apparent when your team is winning 60 to 20 and the enemy team is playing like noobs unable to land headshots then all of a sudden the catch up mechanics switch gets turned on. Then all of a sudden your flinch shoots up through the roof and it becomes impossible to land headshots and the other team gets 70 points in 2 minutes and pulls ahead. Then when they are leading by 20-30 points the catch up mechanics switch again and now both teams suck and no one can seem to kill anyone just so the timer can run out. I absolutely loooooove those matches.

I'm beginning to think it's not just 50/50 win rate, but also 50/50 experience. I want to not believe this is a thing, but after having some.... dare I say.... 'Fun' for about a 3 to 4 day streak (win or lose) last night was straight laughable.... I think it was 4 or 5 games I played.... all sweaty, unbalanced, glitch fest. 2 or 3 of the games were halfway over as I joined. In one game I watched a Warlock dash 3 times in row. Second to last game there was less than 2 mins left on the clock. etc. etc. I'm just beginning to notice this more and more, you have a little bit of fun, but then there seems to be a switch flip...
-
I play mostly solo, have something like a 49.2% win rate in gambit and 49.7% win rate in crucible. When they decide you need to lose, they will make you lose. I was put up against a four stack in gambit prime 5 straight times. I finally said, okay, let's just get the match over with. Went in and took the loss.
-
Survival freelance is just there to balance out the 50% win percentage. The rng and matchmaking in each individual game seems too rigged
-
And yet, there are dumb people who want this so called "SBMM" back...
-
My current K/D ratio is rated at 1.63 but I believe my highest has been around 1.8ish with a KDA of like 2.3ish. Considering my win rate in Comp is supposedly 56% on Destinytracker and 48% for Quickplay, I'd say that's quite an accurate representation of my skills. I know I'm a capable player when it counts having solo'd all the Y2 Pinnacle weapons save for NF because I couldn't be bothered to put together a team to push me out of Mythic for a gun the community was already begging to have nerfed. If you're a solo player in QP, the law of large numbers is sure to take effect the more you play. In CBMM, unless you run full sweat stacks each match, you're most likely going to average a 50% win rate. Luckily that's in QP. Hell, some matches I just dick around and try to see how many melee kills only I can get in the match win or lose. QP isn't NOT an accurate representation of one's skills. If you want to test your mettle, put together a team and play Comp/Trials where SBMM and win based matchmaking are more prominent. Granted you're more likely to encounter cheaters in Trials, your best bet is to play Comp unless trophy armor and weaponry is your thing. Then by all means, suffer the cheating. Matchmaking is the best it's ever been albeit spoiled by rampant cheating. Even the worst player in the game can buy aimbots. Solo players need to stop acting like they're owed a victory because they buy the game. You want to win consistently? Make a team.

just a game - ancien
i'm at 68 % seasonal, reminded to edit because people take the game too serious... -
Forced 50%? I play 6v6 with 1 or 2 friends who are sub par at best every now and then, and I have a 70% win rate this season
-
It’s was never in the game, so...
-
Agree... Last night I played with my brother who is better than I am by far we won three in a row then proceeded to lose the the next 5 matches with us in the top 2 spots of our team with 30+ kills each and every one else being trash.
-
im convinced its still a thing. untill luke smith says "we arent doing that anymore" it was him that first said they were.
-
i agree 50% rule for solo players is bull shit, add the broken comms connection and its not worth playing pvp anymore
-
I’m primarily solo and am sitting at 81%... I play a lot of rumble though so the percentage is a little more in my control (top 3 counts as a win)
-
Didn’t bungle say there was a mechanic that will try to get players into this 50/50 win rate? In like one of their developers insights I believe
-
Dont worry we understand, we will be nerfing fusion rifles.
-
I have played mostly solo this entire season and I have a win/loss ratio of 70%. It’s not a forced 50%. What do you want to happen? Do you think you should be winning 90% of your games or something? Do you think every time you lose it’s not your fault? Or do you think it’s impossible that the other team is just better?
-
Get the percentage sign in the right place

Modifié par not_ sure : 9/25/2020 1:08:07 PMYup 👍. Bungie plays favorites. Trust me. I used to play ALOT . And bungie de-buffs players who stand out and even kicks them from matches

I can't believe that people actually believe that stuff.
