2 commentairesPeople will blame the pandemic, but that is just total horseshit. Beyond Light has been finished for years. Beyond Light is just content that was created and finished by High Moon and Vicarious Visions back when Activision was still running the show.

2 commentairesModifié par TheArtist : 8/19/2020 12:37:42 PMObviously the pandemic. Virtually every major release in the gaming world has been delayed in some fashion because of it. Plus Seattle was one of the hardest hit areas...and one of the earliest to go into lockdown here in the US. Although Bungie has been able to make on-time deliveries of seasonal content during the Pandemic, the quality-control has been pretty inconsistent by Bungie standards. They are probably making major overhauls to a number of different systems in the game....and are taking the time to try to get them right. Then there is the matter of the next gen consoles....

There delaying it because it caused a bug that made eververse disappear from the tower.
-
It takes an extra few months to figure out which weapons with the exact same perks to reissue

1 commentairesomebody spilt coffee on the d1 copy and paste machine

Id assume to remove content to resell at a later date because so many people pre ordered it. Just like they did with Destiny 1 and The Taken King.
-
1 commentaireWell that and they're probably also trying to make a bunch of new weapons to replace what were losing due to sunsetting
-
It's all just smoke and mirrors, they delayed it for the illusion that they are fixing things. But in reality, the expansion will be lackluster and buggy. That is why they haven't even began to give info on it yet

1 commentaireRe-skinning content is hard!

4 commentairesNo one is working on Destiny 2 most are working on the new IP.

They delayed shadowkeep so a few friends could stream borderlands and be ready for day one raid in destiny. Never know the truth with bungie..
-
The pandemic has delayed the restocking of Eververse.

2 commentairesI just can't wait for another launch like Shadow Queue.

1 commentaireNew consoles and theyve got a deal with Microsoft so the dlc is on gamepass day 1, just a few days after the series x release. It's easy access to several million to players

15 commentairesThey ran into issues reskinning the d1 Mars area into Europa.

11 commentairesNew consoles drop in November. Coincidence? Probably not. I can imagine there were some meetings about it.

3 commentairesI swear you people on this forum are some of the most insufferable people on this planet.

1 commentaireThe thing is, the delays aren’t likely to add anything new. Anyone looking at this as “it’s going to be bigger and better than ever” should probably settle for “fewer bugs.”

6 commentairesModifié par TJ_Dot : 8/19/2020 12:57:00 AMMercury isn't getting erased, just deactivated from any sort of active game client. They won't have to worry about some stupid glitch or bug there and can put off dealing with it until they resell* the location for an upcoming season. I'm fully confident that it won't be deleted off the game (not reducing the file size), as well as everything else. You can't just rip these things out without the game having a buggy nightmare. Ask yourself, where has the EAZ been since it left? Haunted Forest? IB? Trials/Lighthouse? It's all the same "Content Vault" they only now chose to dub. Why would planets be any different? The delay is likely world event-related, as the game's foundation is bad enough as it is, try working on that at home

1 commentaireReskinning content is too hard
-
I'm guessing to release with the next xbox and play station I mean they have no problem putting out buggy unfinished code and saving stuff for next season.
-
1 commentaireNeither. They're using the pandemic as a convenient excuse. It's delayed because Luke Smith ran out of Doritos, Mountain Dew and lotion, and couldn't get any more during Lockdown. So he put the entire company on hold with a temper tantrum a fat bearded toddler would be proud of, until he got more Doritos, Mountain Dew and lotion.
