PVP is only rewarding for the top tier players since you did away with any kind of skill made matchmaking. I get it, connections suck sometimes but I rather have the occasional glitchy guardian than being the lackey to the top 3 players on my fireteam over and over. I also get, “get good” so save it. I shouldn’t have to be pvp masters to feel somewhat competent in a game Ive played for 6 years. Before this last update I thought I was alright and was happy to play, now it’s a sweaty stress fest every game. There has to be some middle ground here. I can imagine the elite are getting bored destroying players like me as well.

I strongly disagree. It’s fun to go up against people who are better then u. I started playing smite a few days ago, and after playing bots for a few days I finally went up against actual people and got completely destroyed, I was completely useless. If the game put me against people of my skill level I would have never went up against people who know how to play the game. Now that I’m playing with people who know what to do, I am slowly learning how to play the game.

1 commentaireModifié par Infamous067 : 7/22/2020 1:58:13 AMHave you considered just playing the game and using at least decent weapons? Have you tried simply having a bit of map awareness to stay alive? You might not be a pvp master but anyone can be an assist master and eventually grow to be at least a decent player. What im telling you is not to get good, im telling you to simply pay a little attention to your play style and see what it is you are doing wrong. Destiny’s true skill gap comes from movement or mobility, everything else is extremely easy to master even for the lowest skill players. Are you engaging at distances that you have no business in? Are you constantly rushing with shotguns? Are you constantly sprinting and fail to slow down as soon as you see a ping in the radar? Are you using at least a couple of viable weapons or subclasses? Im not saying to be a sniper god, just use an auto rifle and learn to engage near cover. Stay near your team and do not engage snipers at ranges you should not engage with, just slide to cover and just take another route. Destiny pvp maps have a ton of flanking routes

What is the reward for a 6v6 playlist ? Last time i checked i was getting blues and a few legendary that i delete instantly. (And you dont even have to win the match to get those awesome rewards lmao) Spend more time about learning new ways of playing than complaining here. Top tiers players litteraly CANT be in every crucible match. Considering they are top tiers so They arent 50% of the community. If you have trouble in all of your games, you need to improve instead of playing against bots, doing the same mistakes over an over... At least when you face good players you realize thatyou cant do stupid things. You learn to survive, to think where you are going to peak. Instead of just going straight where the radar is red XD

2 commentairesYou don't have to be a pvp master. It's not like you aren't able to perform well only because CBMM came out. You have the same chance to get good players in your team as the enemy has. And if you are really interested in performing good yourself start practicing. And there is no "I'm already at my upper skill cap", there is a dude that only has one hand and is ranked in Global Elite in CS:GO. Everyone can be good, but only if you want so (Of course not wanting to is also absolutely reasonable).
-
2 commentairesSo you were in some personal noob bubble before and now you want them to change it because you aren't ranking high on your team anymore? Crucible has never been more casual for better players, I've seen and used so much off meta stuff and it's been great.

Hey you know how most people get rich?
they work hard
9 commentaires
I shouldn’t have to be pvp masters to feel somewhat competent in a game Ive played for 6 years.
No, you arent entitled to feel competent because you purchased a game. Not only that but the most hilarious part is you dont have to "be a pvp master" to perform solidly vs the overwhelming majority of average players - just average as they are.... Sbmm was your training wheels and it's about time you grew up and faced the wide world, it gave you the illusion you were average - now you see where you really always were.
-
Correction, it benefits players in the bracket of medium-tuer and above.
-
Then that means that you’re in the bottom 1% or so... For the rest of us, CBMM is better Sorry, but you’re overruled....

Modifié par WHISKEYJ0HNNY0 : 7/23/2020 7:33:45 AMAre you cheating? Because if you’re not then you’re not trying hard enough!!!
😉

I do not endorse cheating. Cheating is bad. Don’t do it. Just play the game honestly and suffer
5 commentaires
I can imagine the elite are getting bored destroying players like me as well.
No, they're not. I understand what you are saying, but many people actually enjoy it the way it is now. I am playing better now than I ever did with SBMM on and it is more fun. However, I grant you that many people are equally disheartened by the removal of SBMM. My whole problem is, there should just be outlier protection and team balancing of some sort. It's no fun to constantly get mercied by a stack of PvP hardcore players. But don't think for a second they are enjoying wiping the floor with you or others. They are LOVING this. And therein lies the rub. Streamers get to make better content and get into matches faster. And they are the ones who advertise the game and attract players. Bottom line, us more casual players' opinion doesn't seem to matter.

In my Opinion we should Boycott all 6v6 playlist including Iron banner. If you want your pinnacle play elimination or comp they are SBMM. If enough of us quit playing, Bungie will take notice, and maybe make a change. What we need is a choice of either SBMM or CBMM in a 6v6 playlist. If you want SBMM back boycott crucible. Tell your friends to spead the word.

Im in favor of sbmm but only with dedicated servers and tiered progression. Tiered progression as in i get 5x more of every currency/progression type over you.

5 commentairesI’m average and my KD has skyrocketed this season, I love playing Timmy no Thumbs

Comp is the most rewarding PvP and it’s SBMM.

4 commentaires
I shouldn’t have to be pvp masters to feel somewhat competent in a game Ive played for 6 years.
Let me try to understand this, you want to feel competent when you aren't? It's one of the things I hate most about sbmm; the game essentially deluding you into thinking you are better/worse than you actually are. That's why I would rather prefer a competitive ranked playlist where skill is tracked.

Modifié par SSK0T : 7/22/2020 1:50:26 PMIf you really believe that CBMM/SBMM is the issue then Play Freelance Survival. It has as much SBMM as we get and no pre-made teams. Try it and see if that is better. I'd love to see Freelance QP, but I really doubt if the game has the population to support it. Also... I play a ton of PVP, but at this point there is no loot incentive to do more than 4 matches a week per character. More often than not, the pinnacle drop doesn't help me anyway. You don't HAVE to play PVP if you don't enjoy it.

No. The problem isnt how good the enemy team is, the problem is how bad your team is. The enemy team can get stomped all day by me. But my teammates cant seem to find where the objective is.
-
3 commentairesNah man they love and thrive on squashing non elite players, and they cry and whine when they get to play people their level
-
1 commentaireYou’ve been playing for 6 years but still need your PvP safe space? Ok bud.
-
To be fair, SBMM punishes people too and I dont just mean the best players, though nobody can deny that they're affected as well, just not in the same way as you or I.
-
1 commentaireYou don’t have to be a pvp master considering most players in each game. In your last 12 games only 36 players were gold elo or above you aren’t matching gods or sweats very often. And that stat is skewed by one game had like 6 gold or above so the other 11 had like 30 this means you matched mostly silver or bronze players. Disclaimer I did not count leavers in these games.
-
Even the sweatlords don't like playing with other sweatlords.
-
1 commentaireI completely agree. Well written!! A game I loved a few months ago is now excruciating. When I find myself in a lobby which is way way better than me I even struggle to keep up with the play and my team. Surely It’s no fun for the better players to either destroy me, or have me in their team. It makes so much more sense to have like skilled players playing together. I won’t threaten to quit the game, but what I see will happen is if things continue as they are I will play less and less and eventually not at all and then eventually CANCEL my PLAYSTATION PLUS membership. That’s what I see if the Crucible remains the same for me.

2 commentairesYou're K/D in the last week worth of matches has been considerably higher than your lifetime K/D and your win rate overall has been about the same. I'm not sure what you, personally, are on about. I find it hard to believe you are in a "sweaty stress fest every game" when you are doing better.
