Interesting. It’s short but a nice hook. Excellent work having the character pose questions that the fan base often asks. Bungie uses the fan base to represent the Guardian population (like in lore excepts about the survivors of the Red War), and these are questions often asked by the fan base. So those questions are what many Guardians would be asking, which makes this story totally accurate and representative of the Guardian population. Amusingly enough, all those questions have actually been answered in lore. They side with neither the Light nor Dark (except for technically the Sol Divisive, who worship the Dark and follow the Sword Logic). Reference the Books of Sorrow and Oryx’s reaction to discovering the existence of Lightbearers with Humanity, from The Taken King (Destiny 1). No other species ever wielded the Light, only humanity (and by extension the Awoken and Exos). But there are allies beyond our solar system, revealed in the Eye of Another World exotic Warlock helmet (Red War). However, the Hive did a thorough job of killing everything in their ancient crusade through space, meaning all the species we know of that could have been allies like the Harmony, Ecumene, Ammonite and Taishibethi are all extinct.[/spoiler]
