What exactly is the point of doing this if you're just gonna make us grind again for the same weapons we already had? Out of the 22 weapons for this season, only 6 of them are new (not including the 2 new exotics). I thought the point was to get players to use new weapons you create. How are you planning to achieve that if you can't even make more than 6 in a season?
Edit: Apparently, I have to spell it out for the comprehensionally-challenged crowd. If Bungie is going to sunset our weapons to make way for new weapons, then they should make more than a small handful of new weapons. This season, we got only 6 new weapons, and 14 recycled ones--many of which were already in players' loudouts. They need to flip that ratio. There should have been at least 15 new weapons, and only a small number of recycled weapons in the loot pool. Not...this. It's hardly any different from previous seasons. I hope that for season 12, and beyond, it won't be like this. Hopefully we'll see a large, diverse arsenal of brand new weapons going forward.

There is an engram that is giving Gnawing Hunger and Lonesome. They were released only 1 year ago and they are already back for us to regrind. How can you support this? That doesn't even make any sense. In September we can grind for Sundial weapons again. In December, we can grind Seraph Weapons again. That is literally what is happening right now. That Gnawing Hunger in Season 11 is the same as the 5 in my vault that I got not even 1 year ago. Yet in September, the one from Season 11 will be usable, and the ones in my vault won't be for some reason. That doesn't make any sense. That isn't sunsetting.
