The last thing we wanted was for you to look at your favorite gun or helmet and decide that it had become obsolete...the time you invested in your stuff should be respected.

4 commentaires6 years, 3 generation of consoles and 2 games later and people still quoting this even though it’s different times now 🤦♂️
-
3 commentairesI said a lot of things in 2014 too. The joy of life is being able to learn, adapt and change your mind. Without that we'd all still be running around the woods trying to catch our next meal.
-
38 commentairesWow it's like things change or something. You ever changed your opinion/ focus on a subject ever? Fng crazy right?
-
“-blam!- you.” -Bungie, 2020
-
It's funny how philosophies can change over time. This one didn't hold up well.
-
"Hurr durr, but the new vendor will have one of each weapon type for you to chase!"
-
The truth behind this, since that day I believe it was Deej that said that. This company has used words ln this form many times and 90% of it never really had any value. The reason for this, they struggle to follow through with their own words.
-
1 commentaireO, look another broken promise Bungie didn't keep? I'm not surprised are you? Was this said around the time of hyping up an expansion?
-
2 commentairesSeems that bungie doesn’t keep to its promises.
-
1 commentaireThey have no clue what they are doing and will say anything to get your money. It's really time we all moved on to another game and let this finally hit their bottom line. Then the Directors might change management when they have zero money coming in and no one playing the game.
-
49 commentairesThey could have flat our deleted your gear. But they're letting you keep it and at some point in the future allowing it to be re used. But given how often people cling to straws on this situation. Bungie should just delete everything we all currently have and finally validate the tears of the entitled.
-
4 commentairesAnd people continued to play and purchase content.
-
1 commentaireWhile I don't like sunsetting, and I don't think it will be handled well, I don't think it's right to hold them accountable to something said more than 5 years ago
-
1 commentaireHalf the original Bungie never came to Destiny. I bet less than half of 2014 Bungie still exists.
-
3 commentairesAlways hated that qoute, it was a very stupid thing to say.
-
They already broke that in D1,year 1 gear was locked at 170
-
5 commentairesThat was a completely different bungie, a completely different game, and a completely different loot system
-
That statement was invalidated a long time ago. Bungie consistently makes loot obsolete. There's a long list of loot that was nerfed/adjusted into oblivion.
-
To be fair, they were talking about the original Destiny, not D2, and A LOT has changed in six years. Holding this against them in D2 is like holding "You see those mountains? You can go there!" against them in D2 as well.
-
Yup, they lie and we've known this since then. Still waiting to see what's the exciting thing about my 400th better devil's...
-
15 commentaires
The last thing we wanted was for you to look at your favorite gun or helmet and decide that it had become obsolete...the time you invested in your stuff should be respected. -Bungie, 2014
You are genuinely stupid, nowhere in the twab did they even imply that you're gear is being made "obsolete", you'll still be able to use it in 90% of content in the game, nobody cares that you want to use your precious little recluse for 5 years when all that does is prohibit bungie from making better loot due to power creep

8 commentairesModifié par Tru-Zrue : 5/16/2020 7:51:10 AMThat quote was made ages ago by a GD CM....and shortly after that quote they nerfed a shit load. Let it go! Let go of the game if you don't like the idea of sunsetting. It's happening. Edit:...my boi....they are doubling down on the f2p part. Sunsetting is the least of your problems.
-
Bungie are a bunch of mother-blam!-ing hypocrites. -blam!- YOU BUNGIE FOR TRASHING AWAY ALL MY GRINDING EFFORTS
-
Famous last words. Nail in coffin ✔
-
Great argument but... it failed when we lost our weapons from D1 and I suppose it will fail now too.
-
They are always changing their mind and their strategy.
