No point, it was a great weapon originally, but once it was earned from raid and people took it into pvp it was neutered beyond all belief.
Same goes for any good exotic in this franchise, if it’s good it gets nerfed.
Bungie doesn’t want us to have op stuff to grind for anymore, they just want us grinding bounties and buying emotes, sad sad sad days.
Hard light just confirms my point, they nerfed it so bad it doesn’t even deserve its exotic class nor does it makes sense with its lore.
But hey streamers and pvp crybabies are the majority of playerbase so may as well cater to them and make every weapon other than hand cannons and shotguns underperform and underwhelming.
Thank pvp and Bungie’s philosophy for the state of lackluster weapons and gear.

If anything sounds like there catering to you. To Add: Sup. Edit: on the lore subject, removing PVP would hurt the lore, just like HL.

Yes I am a supporter of the removal of pvp, look at play numbers, finally got your precious trials back yet numbers are at an all time low...... Remove it and focus heavily on making pve great and the numbers will soar. Keep catering to streamers and you tubers and this dumpster fire will go quietly into the night.

Yet what you're saying about HL now not matching to lore, you'll do the same with PVP/ The Crucible. It is and will always be a Core Activity. Like I mentioned before, if they do remove PvP(which they won't) the game will decline and will be even lower than now. Example A: Anthem. All PVE, and Declined in 1 month. Zero PvP. I grantee if Anthem had some sort of PVP, which is in thier lore, and gameplay, it would be competing with Destiny. But now there overhauling the Entire game, which might now include PvP. (Anthem had other issue I know) Now in the Fall Expansion, Crucible may no longer be needed if Bungie starts the PVEVPVP environment, which they have nailed with Gambit. PVP will always be A CORE Activity in Destiny. It is in the Lore.

You can’t compare anthems pve to destiny’s. And this game would thrive if it’s pve wasn’t limited and held back because of pvp and it’s needs. I understand your point also and obviously pvp is going no where, but you have to be able to see it from other side of fence too Good point
