I mean a real conversation. Not wordy diatribes that sound nice but say nothing.
Talk about preliminary thoughts on solutions. Hear the feedback before you lock in to yet another unforced error. If solutions are more firm, talk about that too. Including the timeline.
Last week you spoke of "long term solutions with short term mitigation." Some of that short term mitigation should be in the game already. Other pieces should have dropped yesterday, but obviously didn't.
Just running that update out the way it was, was the most tone-deaf move imaginable. Like, how did you honestly *think* this was going to be received?! (For context, go to the subreddit, sort by hottest, and look at the top-rated post that isn't stickied.)
It feels like this community is near its breaking point. The sentiment may be as bad as during CoO. Enough with "we're listening. I really think an honest and meaningful conversation needs to start with the community this week.
Edit: That subreddit post either got deleted or really buried deep. So never mind that, I guess. Suffice to say, the author was...displeased about Guardian Games.

there will be new eververse items soon for which you can throw money at the screen, but content is too hard to make apparently

363 commentaires
Tomorrow's TWAB really needs to begin the conversation about how the game is going to get better.
Writing it now and that is the plan. Starting with tomorrow's TWAB, we plan on addressing a major topic of feedback in the community each week for the rest of the season. Trials of Osiris and cheating are the main topics we plan on covering tomorrow.

1 commentaireMy guess is they are just trying to conjure up lies on how to market D3 at this point

Well you got your wish! Let’s hope it stays this way!
Sorry, all out of salt.
Well you got what you wanted.

Modifié par BIRB : 4/23/2020 11:13:34 PMDecent twab this week actually.
-
I'm from the future. They... actually answered. The cheater issue is still bad, but, they're doing a decent amount considering the hyper-focus on Trials.

After reading this weeks TWAB....
Are you not entertained?!!
it’s good

10 commentairesModifié par Gilver : 4/23/2020 5:47:16 PMTWAB prediction: Guardian games launched, it's awesome. Hunters took the first day, Titans took the next, will the Warlocks be able to catch up? Charity stuff. Bungie bounty and stuff. Here's some technical stuff on things we did. And now here is the Trials part. To counter token farming, we are letting you keep your tokens from week to week. And scaling up rewards on the higher tiers. Encourages people to stay with their cards, rather than dump it for a new one. That's it, no adept weapons, no real reason to go flawless. Just more tokens. Next week we'll talk about other disappointing fixes for issues that mostly streamers care about. Trust us, we are listening. Now on to the movie of the week....Pretty sure no aimbots here.

6 commentairesIt is hilarious that there are 3 people in charge of community relations and all they do is a few tweets, maybe respond to a couple reddit posts, possibly 1 forum post, and make a tweet or two, and write a 1000 word TWAB...Thats takes literally 120 man hrs? Wow.
-
When will the TWAB come out?
-
It's taken me about an hour to work out what TWAB means if I'm wrong will someone tell here I go, The Wa#kers At Bungie, watercress problem still has not been fixed 4 to 5 weeks now

Yesterday's update really did nothing but throw gas on the fire." The gas on the fire is Methane!! I farted on the fire!!!,there is now a infernal fire!!

16 commentairesMy entire Clan Left 28 players all hardcore I don't care if there are players who say: you dont like it? Then play something else! I I dont want to play something else! I just want a proper working game like Des 1 year 3 with some ok loot, thats it!

I am disappointed with Bungie, at how they think the player base is actually playing their game... Do you really think a reward for a Medal is another blue or purple drop, only to delete it a second later.. Added to server issues from weasel to whatever fur beavervegetable you can think of (not bungie connecting server, no, it's my problem, your server is the problem), on top of loading into half finished games from forge to gambit to Crucible and strikes, Ordeal included.. To finish more bounties on top of bounties to get more bounties... " Bungie seriously, what a waste "..

This game might not be dead, but it is extremely stale.
-
pure -blam!-ing cheating crap
-
We have seen the complaints regarding cheating in Trials. Our teams are working to address this issue, but our tech is outdated and it is difficult to ascertain who is cheating and who is just lagging due to our tech being outdated. We are listening Here, watch these videos!

Hey when bungie finally falls, will that be "watchable" too?

4 commentairesNot likely to happen. Bungie have always been vague if not uncommunicative since the days of Halo. If there’s one thing I’ve disliked about Bungie in my years of supporting them it’s this. Transparency would be appreciated and a road map or update for QoL and Bug fixes(Watercress) is long over due. Unfortunately, this won’t happen. In a fantasy world it would be nice to believe that the 3 individuals at Bungie who interact with the community are privy to the timelines or progress being made by the respective teams. Right? Obviously they are. They know exactly what’s going on. They are told not to discuss this with community because if things were to change then they would be accused of spreading false information. It’s better to say nothing than to say something that ends up not happening or being false. That is the Bungie way.

The content drought and boring Osiris forging weapon season. You’ve got to be joking. This sort of hyperbolic nonsense is why bungie doesn’t take us seriously. It’s not even close to Curse of Osiris. Quit exaggerating. It’s bad, but not that bad.

No one cares what community thinks lol
-
They'll write a twab and bury it on desktop where no one will see it like they've done the past couple weeks. Bungie can't handle the pressure, and without Activision to use as a scapegoat, they're turtling hard.

Both need to be fired along with dung beetle lord
