What's annoying is that I remember this happening OVER A YEAR AGO, and you can find tons of posts about this bug basically since the strike launched. As for team skill, it really only takes a small mistake when it's the nightfall for someone to die or be delayed from depositing. There's also no prompt or tip that those things are timed until just before they explode when the glow and SFX is noticeably increased, so people new to the strike can very easily think they can take their time with it, especially since those are the ONLY timed pick-ups in any strike that I can think of off the top of my head. But also, sometimes the game will spawn a replacement knight, and sometimes it won't, so you'll get mixed results in reproduction. I have no idea what determines this.
