I think thats fine since you shouldn’t lock someone out of a seal because they did flawless maybe give a exclusive emblem.
I am missing only 1 thing for blacksmith and its flawless, dont think ill ever get it done since no one does SoTp anymore.
And i think the reason it was removed is because of the massive sniper nerf (izanagi having slower honed edge and 20% less damage) making the encounters a little bit harder to 2 phase or 1 phase

My group and I had no problem 2 phasing with everyone using whisper with a couple celestial shots thrown in.

One thing to take note is that every group is different. Before you could guarantee a 1 phase with those weapons each time, now not all teams can guarantee it. Bungie probably knows that since the final boss is so Mechanic heavy a 2nd phase could destroy a run and mess everything up. The overall point is that the final boss is much harder to flawless due to the massive changes to snipers and other dps weapons

Hey, we found good alternatives to iza tonight, my clan and i just easily 2 phased it tonight. 1 phase is still possible. We used well, tether and a mix of 1k and xenophage. And did 70% phase 1 and the last 30 phase 2. 6 xenos, or 6 1ks will also do insane damage. No divinity needed, just well and tether 👍😁

My point is that you could have run the SAME setup from the beginning of the raid to the end (i know i have) and when the nerfs hit bungie knew that it was gonna get alot harder, especially since players would have to rely on heavy ammo fir dps.

You should be able to find people. It’s an easy flawless if you have people who can competently do the sparrow portion.

Most people who do host flawless raids have very few to none completions, and end up leaving at the first wipe i will bet the same thing happened there.
