And for anyone saying "but...but Trials is free"?? Yeah, I get that. What was the valid reason for it ending the first time? What changed to have it brought back? What was changed to improve it? Constantly recycling older content back into the game like its "new"? Not cool. Is this because you're betting the farm on New Light players? Faction rallies are gone, we still can't edit our characters appearances after 6 years...etc. For a group of individuals that don't want us hanging onto "old stuff", you guys sure do.

It isn't representative of your skill, it is representative of how much time and how many try-hard friends you have available to play with every day. If you put in 17+ hours of game time a day with 6 other people who put in 17+ hours per day then you will be PL 1070 against the average player who is 970 and the casual player who is 950. That 1070 will beat the 950 every single match without fail due to PL regardless of the skill level of the two players. A PINNACLE PVP EVENT SHOULD BE SKILL BASED!!!! You put special glowing armor in there to show that someone went flawless but it is going to be meaningless to the community because to us all it will mean is that they got put against lower power level people that thought they could compete. The "Wow factor" will definitely not be there. I'm more impressed with someone who has NF than someone who has glowing Trials armor at this point. 2. While we are on the subject of NF (and everything else we spent WAAAAY too long grinding out): Who ever came up with the idea of removing the ability to boost the power level of weapons and armor should be fired. Just out-right. Get security in there and escort that moron off the property before their cancer spreads. My immediate thought when i read this was "I spent the better part of 6 months grinding out Redrix and LH/NF. Recluse and Revoker took less time but still took a while. And in a few months they will be 100% useless (especially in trials since it's PL enabled... you know.... where you might want to use top tier PVP weapons...) 3. Thank you for buffing a warlock super in a way that makes sense. You saw a problem and addressed it based on community feedback. I am both impressed and appreciative. That being said... what were you thinking about all the other changes you made? I know for sure that no one in the community was asking for more OHKs in PVP. The HHSN is pretty powerful but the Hunter Knife OHK is more accurate than a sniper rifle and has nearly the same range and Titans can shoulder charge OHK an entire team if they are smart enough to use corners propperly and can clump up their enemies. really, i would like to see all of their damage scaled down. Make it a 2 hit kill and we are good. I was very excited when i saw the Trials logo in the PVP console a few weeks ago. I was stoked to be able to finally get the trials weapons and gear that i wanted when i first started playing D2 at launch but then quickly realized there was no reason to play that game mode without a full team of 6 great players. I saw this one and thought "This might end up being a great opportunity because everyone is starting at roughly the same level and i wont have to compete against people who already have all the trials guns. after reading the patch notes and seeing the videos i am confident that i am going to play this game as it is intended, as a free to play FPS. The days of grinding out loot and trying to get achievements and titles are over. There is literally no point because by the time i get the gear it will be obsolete. GG bungie. GG

1 commentaireI thought pinnacle gear/rewards were supposed to drop at two points over your base power level, minus the artifact bonus? I just completed my first Master Nighmare Hunt of this week, and my pinnacle reward dropped at only one point (970) over my current power level; I'm 969, minus artifact bonus. FYI, I was base 969 going into the Master NH.

If you want to fix crucible, get rid of supers, subclasses, put weapons on the map and everyone starts with the same weapons. Simple fix. Please quit nerfing shit, I want to come back to play again.

I guess this is where we finally say goodbye. The last time i quit was when Osiris came with the first DLC of D2...epic mistakes where made. This feels a lot like yet another epic slap to the face. Crepping Power is what made Magic the Gathering useless,and there for will make Destiny useless to play. My money and time are very valuable to me, i have given both. 4 rocky years and countless dollars. I ' ve heard Bungie has plans for all the next upcoming seasons. Yet this Crepping Power issue never was in the plans? Or they where.? Heres a few extras: Warlocks use to have a melee in D1. Now they just slap like a old lady. Did Bungie fix it so to be on par with hunters/titans nope. They decide to make there melee worse. Here's a juicy one remember all that money we paid to pre-order or those seasons DLCs, well Bungie just gave it away for free to PC players so that way they can cheat and break the game over and over again. But it looks so great! And now the moment we finally get some pvp content coming Bungie smile's and makes those hours of pain staking grid for those weapons that you finally got or just simply are in love with as useless as an emblem. Looks great and forgettable. Cyberpunk pre-order is in. Time to take my time and money back, and spend it on a customer friendly company. One that doesn't just care about my money,but also my time. Time can only tell if Destiny will make it through the year before Bungie realize this its core base isn't there.

It is absolutely asinine, petty, and not cost effective for you to change infusions yet again just because your bored or you need to balance the mistakes you've made since adding PC and PC for free. The console gamers have ALWAYS been your bread and butter and now you have forsaken us. While you break all our guns that we spent hours on your servers to get boosting your company's investablity we will be leaving to play other games. I think I'll wait until all the cheaters have had their fun and all the players have had enough and you revert to something almost as good as it is now to save face. Guns in gaming are like guns in real life. Get is accustomed to having them and then we want to turn you to swiss cheese should you try and take them. Its so lazy what you are doing. Also you should have raised inventory cap again by now. You sont respect your fans. When FFVII comes out, you will be dead to me if you dont get your poop together. I'm tempted to sue you for in game virtual currency, as should the entirety of the d2 population. While we might bmnit have grounds to get real money we certainly should be compensated with exact replicas of all past guns that simply level with our leveln and cap out with the season cap... You all are very obtuse and you smell like rotting feces. I'm beginning to think you all should have stayed with Halo, that is if you could have prevented Activision from monetizing it to death. The worst thing you can do to people is waste their time especially if they put money in as well. You've wasted both. I really hope they dont put you guys in charge of anything important like the corona virus. Thanks for every time you finally get it right you decide you have to break it for 2 more years. There are 600 weapons in this game.... not deducting duplicates for randomly rolled/y1.... many of which are identical with a differing element.... but you want to retire them... in a loot shooter.... to no doubt re-introduce even more reskins of the same weapons that you have retired.... all in a supposed effort to reduce the work load required to balance the game.... even though these guns will still be IN THE GAME and usable in all but the "pinnacle" activities..... which basically implies that you will ignore around 80%+ of your sandbox, in order to make it easier to balance Trials, Banner and whichever PVE content you bother with.... This isn't an [i]answer[/i]. It is yet another excuse for laziness and a transparent lack of creativity and forward thinking. Smh
