The neutral game for top tree dawnblade is great, but bottom tree feels really gutted. The super was the best thing and now it’s not that great. Could we revert burst glide to the way it was or at least buff the neutral game?

Modifié par Darknorth : 2/26/2020 12:46:20 PMLet me pitch in my useless wishes to bottom tree dawnblade. Can I get a flame shield to melee dawg? Also I'd like my grenades to be chilli so add a viking funeral and touch of flame to all solar ability damage. Can I get firebolts to have more range too? Can I get an extra melee range and speed on my warlock too? Oh yeah I want an exotic that enables fireborn on my dawnblade since ToO is returning. That will be all....Oh and don't forget my latte topped with a sprinkle of Hunters tears. Thank you.

I suppose we'll see if bottom tree Dawnblade gets any love with the upcoming subclass "tweaks" announcement for next season. I'm not going to hold my breath though. I did the last time they said they were tweaking Solar subclasses and ended up disappointed. The changes to top tree were fun for a little while, but I can get a similar aerial combat playstyle on bottom tree by equipping an exotic and still keep the superior Super (I honestly have more fun with this combo than I did with the top tree changes). I've said this before, but I'd happily trade the Super energy regen from bottom tree to an Exotic if it meant getting improvements to bottom tree's neutral game. Maybe a Melee that does more than tickle, or the ability to set fire to enemies that walk in my Rifts, or something. You'd think a subclass called Attunement of Flame would have more varied synergy in dealing with fire abilities than it does, but nearly all of the subclass is loaded into the Super. Which means it has almost nothing special going for it when it's on cooldown.

1 commentaireCan we buff bottom tree in general? Its entire neutral game is literally just Pheonix Dive with a Thorn bullet melee gimmick, and the former is awful in of itself.

2 commentairesBottom tree makes no sense to me. Phoenix dive is a cool skill but since you can’t shoot while remaining in the air like top tree you’re basically relegated to jumping up and down to use the skill+you’ve already got rift for the heal. Now if you could still remain in the air and shoot like on top tree, Phoenix dive would have a legit function if you took some hits while in the air.

If you use the top tree you can still do it if you use the icarus dash trick, where you hop, then do your dash and start the double jump at the same time
