I took off towards the outskirts of the Shore. Nexus disagreed with me in not visiting the Spider, and now was refusing to talk. I looked towards a squadron of Cabal that broke out from the Prison of Elders. I then ran towards them, my feet were barely even touching the smooth stone ground that we were on. The Cabal turned around just in time to notice my approach, yet before they could open fire an explosion broke out somewhere behind them. I was staggered by the impending shockwave, the Cabal on the other hand were completely knocked out. I rushed towards the source of the explosion only to find one of the Barons there. ———————————————————————————————————— Kaniks was there, and I should have known. We were in the middle of a large minefield, and one wrong step could be very bad. Kaniks waited there at the other side, that Baron always lived for the adrenaline rush. I decided that stealth was the best way to deal with him, I donned my mask that I had made in honor of Tevis. Two spectral blades were then conjured as I moved swiftly and silently across the field. Kaniks had no idea that I was coming, and I ended up mounting him and then slitting his throat. His corpse was burned and then mutilated and eviscerated just for the heck of it. I went off to kill another Baron, Hariks, The Mindbender. ———————————————————————————————————— Hariks was easy to find, as I just followed the path that Karov had traced out for me. I made it to the Jetsam of Saturn, an old crashed Hive Warship from the Taken War. I made my way inside, once I arrived at the innermost chamber I saw the Mindbender. He had horns that made him look like a Hive Ascendant in some way. When I went down to confront him, he just fled into his Ascendant Realm. That was a bad idea, as he was now going to get checkmated by a person that had been playing mind games with all of his enemies for years. I pursued Hariks to the core of his Throne World. I decided to pull out the axe that I had obtained from an Abyssal Champion on Titan. I cleaved his head off and did away with his corpse by turning it to dust for good measure. ———————————————————————————————————— I next went after the Trickster, caught her arming a trap inside the Prison of Elders. She fled and I pursued in kind, I followed her to a deeper part of the Prison, and it was a part that she had booby trapped. I immediately dashed towards her which set off all of the trip mines in the immediate area. The bridge that we were standing on collapsed and left me falling into what can only be described as a bottomless pit. I strategically decided to summon my Arc Staff, I used the staff like a helicopter blade and flew myself towards the Trickster, and once I landed we immediately decided to both use our melee weapons. I disarmed her only to decapitate her head with the same axe that I had used on Hariks. She also crumbled to dust under the might of the axe. Next was the Machinist, the Rider was being taken care of by Paradox-43, clever man! ———————————————————————————————————— The Machinist was up next, I had managed to get a hold of a Cabal Tank earlier. I stormed the Machinist’s lair using the tank. She was left powerless against the might of such a Cabal Tank, though I did have help from the Legend of whom used a broken Drake to assault and kill the Machinist. Next on the List was Pirrah the Rifleman, and he was the one that I was most afraid of. I had decided that an all out assault was meaningless. I went out to find the Rifleman, and I was armed with the Whisper of Xol, The Will of Thousands. ———————————————————————————————————— The Whisper guided me to Pirrah’s location, snuck up to him and immediately fired a headshot upon the fiend. I then put the Whisper away and loaded Malfeasance with a bullet from Thorn, I had intended to make Pirrah pay for the death of Sundance, and this was how I was going to do it. I ran up towards Pirrah who was still staggered from the impact of Whisper. I cut off his legs using Executive, which was the name that I gave to the Axe from the Abyssal Champion. Once he had no legs I decided to make him die, permanently, I did this by shooting the Bullet of Sorrow directly into his head. He immediately disintegrated to dust.
