Holy crap! This weeks TWAB sucks!!!
I know why that haven’t put it up here yet. It’s full of nerfs! Can’t do anything without Bungie taking it away. This is ridiculous how they LISTEN to the community. What a joke.
Edit. To people asking what I think sucks about this TWAB.
You’re right. This is what sucks to me.
The auto rifle buff is marginal at best. Not one person complained that GL and snipers were to powerful in PVE and to take 20% reduction in damage is what sucks. I’m not complaining about some needed PVP nerfs.
They make bosses with so much health and unable to really get close to them without an instant death and nerf a gun they made that helped in boss battles.
*edit* so it’s been brought out that exotic snipers never received a buff in SK, only legendary snipers. So if they never received a buff, how is Bungie reverting the power back to pre SK numbers?
They should stay the same, right?
C’mon Bungie, give us some answers.

This is the first week that I can remember that they haven't 'Pinned' the TWAB to the top of the forums. Is it just me or did they change that awhile back and I didn't notice?

If you’re saying the AR buffs aren’t that good, you were CLEARLY not paying attention. This shift substantially reduces TTK in some cases - and noticeably across the board. As to snipers... Jesus. I hear nothing but whining. But you know when nobody was whining about snipers and their effectiveness? Last season. And guess what? Snipers will be exactly where they were last season in PVE. I totally get the body shot reduction in PVP (though I’m not a fan). But in essence, everybody was fine with snipers last season. Snipers will be that exact same way again, but all of a sudden that level is garbage and Bungie can’t do anything right? You understand how utterly ridiculous that sounds, yeah? The Last Word nerf was really well executed. As somebody who alternates between it and a kinetic sidearm, it’s a gut punch, but that thing is completely “easy button” territory and needed a gut. Lord of wolves, backup plan... WTF is complaining about those? Like, I’m never cheering for nerfs, but there is hardly anything here to be legit upset about.

You know. I've been skirting this game for years, noe. Criticizing it and BUNGiE in the hopes that myself and the people who share my opinion will see Destiny become something more than an "Acceptably mediocre game" for once in it's lifespan. It won't. And after having made my attempts and having stuck around with BUNGiE in the hopes that they would get their collective heads out of their asses, I'm actually just done. BUNGiE isn't going to fix this game unless they start chasing the dream again, but they're just chasing dollar signs and it's pathetic. Instead, I'm gonna go and hope that Bioware's 2.0 for Anthem actually delivers.

The Bungie way: Some weapons are not being used as much. Take away the fun weapons, so others are viable. Instead of bringing the less used weapons up to the current favorites. “Find the fun” #BeACustomerNotAFan

1 commentaireTL;DR; Their monetary 'season pass' mechanism is to blame for all nerfs. This is truly sad. Every nerf in PVE is the result of the game being so easy due to that damned artifact and the +25 power it gives me. If they would only do away with that, weapons wouldn't be overpowered. They broke all balancing in the game and respond by hackish nerfs. A 980 nightmare hunt is supposed to be hard as hell with a 970 max light. But it's a joke at 998 power. So what do we do? Nerf weapons. The whole game is completely and utterly broken and unbalanced. Rather than fix the problem, they're applying patches. Destiny: I have brain cancer. It's called artifact power bonus. Bungie: We'll fix that by wrapping your balls in duct tape. Problem solved! I hate to say it, but I miss Activision. Sorry for not playing nice.

8 commentairesIf they didn't give EVERY SINGLE boss the same F**KING stomp mechanic as if the darkness never skipped a leg day once in their life then maybe people would use some shorter ranged tactics. Don't chalk up shit copy and paste mechanics to us taking advantage of ranged weapons. No we are using them so we don't get "killed by the architects". Hell even the floating Vex Hydra bosses have a stomp mechanic. THEY DON'T HAVE LEGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh well. They can nerf them to 80 percent I'm still going to snipe and GL the hell out of bosses lol.

3 commentairesPVE players will have the best strats/ loadouts figured out on the 3rd day of new season with the massive youtube/reddit etc community. It won't be the end of the world for raid teams... unless they're trying to carry someone (which in that case, hey it's D2 not D1 so that ain't easy anymore). For the PVP side though I think Autos are gonna be a big part of the meta at least in 6v6. What bothers me as a console player is seeing The Last Word nerfed when it really takes alot of skill on console to use consistently. Even the worst roll bygones can be spammed in every range and be more effective in many cases. I don't wanna see hand cannons be the only thing used... but geez if high fire rate wins every time that'll be a boring meta for anyone who already saw that in D1 for two years during the Suros, and then Hacksaw metas. What they really need to do is NERF tf out of middle tree sunbreaker titan.... dudes can literally just Walk By You and you're dead, not to mention the ridiculous tracking of the super that literally can make a 90 degree corner kill... And kills fifteen feet in the air. That super was already good before the buff.

Doesn't matter if it is full of nerfs, we still do rediculous amounts of damage regardless. The next best thing will come along, people will use whatever that may be for the a while. It is a cycle that repeats but at least it changes up the meta. I don't want to sit in the back using izanagis for the next 2-3 years, that just gets boring. You can't ask for them to buff everything else in the game because then everything will be broken and will not have any kind of challenging activities. There are people out there 2 manning raids, doing master nightfalls solo already because we already do that much damage. I'm good with them making changes where needed.

[b]BUT[/b] I have to say that this is probably in response to everyone using Izanagis all the time, AND the fact that no one can git gud with Bastion, or any other up close and personal weapon anymore. IMO Bastion is amazing. Titan with greaves and Bastion is ridiculous. I love using it in all content. But everyone just hangs out in the back, never pushes, never uses their super..etc... Bungie are trying to force those people (I hate those people btw) into a playstyle that I personally feel [b][i]IS[/i][/b] the way to play D2. I agree everyone can play how they want. I also agree that activites like Sundial dont really call for Izanagis or snipers at all. But with as much as we are playing The Ordeal, snipers are the clear choice. And I think it sucks to nerf them. I guess, what Im saying is I can see both sides and Im just explaining why I think these changes are taking place. Ill also say that Bungie try to he the most ANNOYINGLY politically correct people on this blue planet in everything they say. It annoys me to no foreseeable end. So no one ever hears them say what Ive said above, which is totally accurate.
