This is by far the dumbest crap to be added in the game. How is having the highest light level considered skill? This should be the most sweatest playlist for PVP besides COMP and Trials. It makes no sense that light level determines how skillful you are versus being actually skilled. This should not be a thing for Trials or any further content that requires to prove yourself via your own skills. You should see people running the most broken crap in IB but instead it is people with the highest light level having the advantage. I was hoping that the final IB of this season was going to allow people to show their true skill by disabling the light level advantage system but was I wrong on so many levels. PVP should never be based off light level but actual skill and PVE should be based off light level. It is common sense. For the players who are going to get offended by what I am saying, I do not care what D1 did because we are in D2 now. Granted, I should have leveled up my characters more this season but there literally was no incentive to do so other than for IB and the new level system for PVE. This was another ruined boring experience with a less than mediocre IB. What makes the issue much worse is that we are literally fighting light level for gear and weapons we already have in Collections. The only thing this week has brought that I happy about is the ability to play Clash without having to go and play Russian Roulette of Classic Mix. Here is my solution: Introduce a seperate light level enabled IB system that isnt affected by your progression via normal PVP and PVE. You level up your guardian via IB for the sake of being an Iron Lord. Each level puts you into a different Iron Lord bracket making you more powerful than others.
