due to the ever increasing amount of weapons and armor, and on top of that seasonal armor and weapons, i think vault space needs an increase. this has been done before for the same or similar reasons back in year 1, but since the launch of forsaken, it hasnt changed from 500. i think a lot of people agree that it needs an increase. i personally like to keep weapons/armor that i either cant get anymore, have sentimental value, or have god rolls. for a long while ive had problems with vault space, which is generally always close to 500.

Beyond Light is Released and still no vault space increase?!?!?!? Also, if you don't want to keep your stuff that's your perogative I worked incredibly hard to acquire gear with rolls I want and gear with limited time availability. I want to keep it! And no, sunsetting is not excuse to delete an armor piece or gun. For a number of activities in this game, level doesn't matter. Every Major Expansion (i.e. Forsaken, Shadowkeep, Beyond Light) should come with 100 increase to vault space. period. Bungie, PLEASE increase vault space. This is ridiculous.

500 in just hilarious. Even 1000 is not enough. 2500 is what we need, but bungo never going to do that because they are a small indie company that can't maintain their servers

Hey, I totally agree! Playing Destiny 2 since Shadowkeep and already struggling like hell with vault capacity. Not sure about a lot of perks and that's why I'd like to keep the items for some time and test them at my leisure. But now, with all this sundial farming I really am in pain in dismantling good weapons. Sure, theoretically you only need 6 weapons (let's say Patron of Lost Causes) - 3 for each of your characters for PvE and 3 for PvP - but with additional types of weapons having 6 items each adds up very quickly. And I have no objections to PAY MONEY to increase vault capacity. If someone says, it's pay to win, I disagree, because this game has no trade system, so I could not give the items to others and there is also no real competitiveness. Crucible and Gambit are just for fun, I would say, and there is no real penalty for losing a match. I just don't understand how people, who play this game for years, are ok with 500 vault capacity + 90 character slots capacity. And every season new items come out. As I see it, the more seasons come out, the less motivation you would have to play, because in the end you will either have to remove good old weapons or have to neglect grinding new ones. Perfect reason to stop playing the game like a nerd and become CASUAL. Is it Bungie's wish that we are all CASUAL? Not sure, if you as a company can earn good money that way. Hopefully it does not sound like a rage comment. I just want to point out that I as player will have less and less motivation to play this game. And this is a good game! That's why I'm sad about this hard vault capacity cap. Bungie, please, for the love of the Traveler, increase the vault capacity!

Modifié par deadly-cause : 2/11/2020 4:07:02 PMNot only does it need an increase but it also needs to be properly categorised like in D1 (armour tab, weapon tab, consumables tab for those who didn’t play D1 and doesn’t know lol).
-
Modifié par TJ_Dot : 2/11/2020 2:01:43 PMI see the same useless patronizing comments are here again. Bottom line, if you think it's plenty, then good for you, others don't. Everyone's different. No use in telling people who aren't asking for advice what to do.

If you're a player that reduces a weapon's performance down to one stat or two perks because Joe Pro streamer said so then you aren't going to understand why other players have problems with Vault space. The point is, we've invested a lot of time and money into a game that is increasingly about collecting limited edition gear so it is not unreasonable for players to ask for more Vault space and they shouldn't have to justify it.
-
Bungie logic "let's take away trials, faction rallies, and most y1 items that are now unobtainablable while adding thousands of new seasonal items that will go away and also be unobtainable without increasing vault size at all. fOmO rIgHt?"
-
Either that or bungie should allow us to pull out weapons from the collections that drop with random rolls. I know I know it will be terrible because itll take away all the ridiculously tedious grinding. Yet theres no game breaking perks like luck in the chamber.
-
Facts. I have almost 400 items in my vault, I hardly have any doubles of anything, I have almost every weapon and armor in the game. I think vault space needs an increase from 500 to 700.
-
Should increase the vault space!
-
I would actually love more space. More space incentivizes more playing. It means you dont need to scrap rolls you earn but cant keep because of space. It means multi-character players can grind more. It means devs value the effort of getting loot.
-
-
I simply cannot fathom how people run out of vault space. There is no where near 500+ items in this game that are actually worth keeping.
-
dont see it happening till next gen arrives. Game needs a big overhaul for next gen consoles.
-
Easy fix Stop hoarding, delete what you dont use, this is a you problem, the vault has 500 slots atleast and thats way more then enough
-
Agreed. 1000 should suffice.
-
just delete the useless items your never gonna use again. I keep one of every weapon, the best one. And unless it was raid or hard to come by armor with great stats it's history (I keep those). I constantly purge my vault down to 475, allowing me to gather more stuff to delete later.
-
Wtf are you stocking in that vault people I only have 50 slots occupied
-
500 is more than enough. Learn how to delete.
-
500 is plenty
-
Have you ever found it ridiculous that a game set in the far far future has trouble with storing stuff? Items can be decrypted from Engrams but no - no way to store blueprints or anything of that nature. Stupid.
-
It really doesn't
-
Of all the problems in this game this is no longer one of them. 500 is plenty. You need to do some housekeeping and stop hoarding
