I play several mobile games, and I play Destiny 2 on my Xbox. That’s it. Whenever my mobile games have a long downtime, they give everyone who plays it something in the game as a meaningful apology. For example, when Legacy of the Beast went down late last year, they gave everyone a large package of upgrade materials. I don’t recall exactly how much, but I do remember feeling surprised at the gesture and I forgot about the annoying downtime. Until now. Bungie seems so guarded about their precious content that the idea of compensating their players with some meaningful content in the game is not even thought of. C’mon man! It’s digital stuff! Does it affect your bottom line? No! Will it go a long way to smoothing over hard feelings? Yes! Throw us a bone, you guys! Show us you MEAN IT, when you say sorry.
