One can look at this and view this as you were openly enticing disruption to the forums and as such your thread was locked. While I might not agree with Dylan's explanation on why he locked your thread, but I do agree that it warranted to be locked. While there were some good points made by those who replied, I think you could of and should have went about it in a different manner. If that post in it's current iteration has you concern about avoiding the possibility of a future conflict, then let it serve as a reminder to think before you post something.

They locked mine too due to the comments in it and not the OP. So stupid how people ruin things for others. My OP didnt break code of conduct at all, just a fusion loving ninja abusing his power probably.

I think you are over thinking about getting your thread locked. Once a thread gets locked, it dies on its own and can’t be removed or edited. It will stay there until it’s not trendy anymore. It happens, just be more cautious next time.

They are getting a lot of negative feedback over the "new" content. Maybe they're just feeling a little sensitive right now.

i doubt it had to do with your original post. it has more to do with replies from others. if enough of them get too belligerent, and break the ToS, the whole thread will get locked. this is most likely what happened. despite popular belief, Bungie doesn't lock threads because they contain negative feedback. if this was the case the majority of posts here, would have been locked.
