Hahahahaha man, I called that. I said a while back that Trumpers would go from "There was no quid pro quo REEEEEEEE!!!!!" To "so there was quid pro quo, so what!?!?"
Prepare to move those goalposts!

Still waiting on republicans to revert to the Nixon defense... If the president does it, its legal.

3 commentairesEvery time I look through the comments in one of these threads I’m left with the same thought... I can’t figure out which is more puzzling. The fact that it’s almost 2020 and people still get some weird gratification from trolling people on the Internet.. or the fact that this trolling has been going on for over a decade and there’s still so many people gullible enough to fall for it. The Internet is wacky, man.

21 commentairesTrump will not be impeached and he will win again in 2020. If you think otherwise you're delusional. Should stop watching so much fake news!

2 commentairesTo be fair, a quid pro quo isn't automatically illegal. I just want a consistent standard for these things that neither side seems to really want to see. If Trump withholding funds because he wanted Ukraine to investigate corruption is illegal then Biden withholding funds to get an allegedly corrupt prosecutor fired and Democrats writing a threatening letter to Ukraine unless they investigated Trump was illegal as well. If Trump working with a foreign government to push investigations into what he sees as corruption is illegal, then Hillary doing the same thing in 2016 was illegal. See, the problem we have here is the very clear double standard where people will excuse the exact same behavior when it's their party doing it and condemn it when it's the other party. This situation shows it on the left, and there are plenty that show it on the right. With what we know at this point, I don't see what Trump did as illegal and I see it the same way for the Democrats I mentioned.

10 commentairesLindsey Graham's latest tack is that Trump and his aides just weren't smart enough to abuse their power.

27 commentairesModifié par Unicorn Goo : 11/5/2019 3:53:04 PMIt's quite funny and sad at how hung up on this you are https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/growing-number-of-gop-senators-consider-acknowledgingtrumps-quid-pro-quo-on-ukraine/2019/11/01/72084a3e-fcc4-11e9-9534-e0dbcc9f5683_story.html Alot of vague reporting from people speaking on the condition of anonymity. Where have we seen this before.....? Is it really newsworthy, that if the info was true, only 2 senators spoke of it? And yet you want to post a misleading headline that insinuates a majority considering it. It's like with the Russia thing, the stormy thing, and every other thing y'all get hung up on. I'll just sit back and let it play out laughing. Forgot to add, I love opening these and seeing the pretentious leftwing circle jerk.

7 commentairesAt this point, I'm not surprised by it. I'm fully expecting the GOP to support anything the president says and does without question now. American politics is all about party lines now, and no one wants to meet in the middle. In this case, the last few weeks have just been making Filipino politicians look pure and like saints in comparison to Republicans in Congress.

9 commentairesThere is really no way to deny what he did. Republicans know this so they aren’t even trying. Instead they just pretend there’s nothing wrong with what he did and complain about the “transparency” of the process instead.
If the facts are against you, argue the law. If the law is against you, argue the facts. If the law and the facts are against you, pound the table and yell like hell
- Carl Sandberg

Lindsay Graham refuses to read the report that shows evidence of quid quo pro.

6 commentairesThere was a quid pro quo in the sense of "You will get military aid if you clean the corruption out of your country". There was no quid pro quo that said "investigate Biden or no aid"
Also, does this mean that running as a canidate grants immunity for a while? Say Clinton is about to be investigated for crimes, can she just announce that she's running so people can't investigate her?
