I created a new Steam account and tried their "fix". [u]It didn't work[/u]. None of my Guardians of paid content migrated to the new account. And, best of all, Bungie has not responded to any of my attempts at contact for help. NOTHING I've tried (every suggested fix from Bungie, Reddit or this and other forums) has worked. I think Bungie is willing at this point to lose any customer with this issue -- I guess we're too small a segment of the Destiny 2 population to care about. Good luck.
