Self explanatory.
My vote?
Halo Reach all the way.
The character customization, the forge, the armor, the campaign, what’s not to love?
-
I absolutely love how H4 has no votes
-
Four was terrible. Just run past all the bad guys and the game is over. The start of Bungie's, we don't need no stinking story, business plan. Played Five for about Five minutes. It came with my Xbox One so it cost nothing and was worth every penny. Not buying Infinite since I just wasted a lot of money on D2.

I have a soft spot for CE for being on PC since 2003 and having the most options in terms of map customisation and user-created content (that kept its online multiplayer booming until 2011), but Halo 3 in its peak was the best all-round experience for me.
-
5 and 4 sucked b*lls
-
Combat evolved without a doubt. Like most series, starts strong. Starts to slip. Turns into a pvp game with no real campaign or story.
-
Really I could play halo three with friends for the rest of my life
-
Halo reach will always win for me
-
Bump because I NEED TO KNOW
-
To me CE, 2, 3 and odst are all on the same level of greatness. After that reach, 4 and 5 all come in second place. Halo infinite looks very promising though, and I'm excited to see some gameplay on the next console. I'm even more excited for mcc launching on steam. I think that's going to be huge and bring mp back to its glory days (:
-
I've played them all, excessively. 3 will always be the best multi player, even though it was plagued by those with malicious intent. It also had the most replayable campaign, imo. Halo 2 anniversary's cut scenes are spectacular, and I wish they would get around to doing Halo 3 anniversary as well.

Modifié par Numero Uno : 9/24/2019 2:42:06 PM1: Halo 3, to many sleepless nights playing customs with randos having the most fun I've had in any game to this day. Forge was a game changer. 2: Halo CE for the Lan Parties I had with my cousin and our friends after school back in the day. 3: Halo 2 was my start in online gaming, got my own XBL account back in 04 and the rest is history. Honorable Mention: Halo Reach is beyond a doubt a personal favorite, an armoury was something I had talked to friends about even before the game was announced so when that fascination came true I fell in love. Customs felt alive again much like 3 did and I spent sometime in the clan realm torwards the end of the games life time.
As an edit I never played 5 besides the beta and I owned 4 for a matter of days before returning my preorder for a full refund.
Halo 2 Fancy Edition

I can't wait for halo MCC on PC.

*picks Halo 5 because I have not played any of the Halo games and I know that one is the most disliked (?)

Modifié par unknownuserh : 9/24/2019 9:45:41 AMAnyone else think CE is being criminally underrated? The game that started it all and is still better than most games releasing today
-
Reach is my favorite, just because my younger brother and I played it non stop until we beat it. After that though, our parents had us take a break from Halo games... Most likely because my brother got really mad when the Covenant killed his favorite character. And we were about 10 (me) and 7 (my brother) years old.
-
3 because it was the first halo game I played. It’s the game that made me borrow my friends Xbox and play the first 2 on. The rest post ODST isn’t really at the same standard I think.

Modifié par Jono : 9/24/2019 8:40:40 AM
what’s not to love?
- Armor Lock - Active Camo as a armor ability - 90% Forge maps in multiplayer that all look the same and are all shit and the developer made maps were shit as well - Bloom that was completely unnecessary, implemented terribly, and did not fit in Halo's sandbox at all - The vehicles had health instead of being dependent on the operator's shields and were made of paper - The DMR - The Sniper Rifle dealt WAY too much damage to vehicles - Sword Block was a thing - No ranking system - No bleedthrough - No real Covenant sniper weapon - No Brute Chopper - No AA Wraith - No Hornet - Player hitboxes were the size of a goddamn bus (you didn't even need to aim at someone's head with the sniper rifle to get a headshot) - Player movement was slowed down, player jump height was shortened, and fall damage was back making the game significantly slower and sluggish than the previous games - Health packs were brought back when Halo 2 and Halo 3 were completely fine without them - Elite customization was extremely barebones compared to Halo 3 - The game did not get a title update until a year after release
-
To be honest, I really love ODSTs atmosphere, the story, the music, the silenced weapons felt very satisfying... 1-3 are great too I guess.
-
I have to say halo 3 or reach. ODST is amazing too.
-
Reach, really fun game and i have this memory where Kiss FM in the UK were giving away copies, i'd been trying all day but at half 5 i was sat playing ODST with the radio on, heard the cue to call and managed to get through.
